Scripture References: Philippians 1:6

Do we realize just how important time is? Paul reminds us that the work that God begins he will definitely complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, but keep in mind there will come a time that time will be no more. We don’t know how much time it takes for God to complete the work of salvation, but one thing is for sure if we wait too long for God to begin this work we may find  out that we will be left behind when he comes for that prepared church. You must have a determination to know nothing but Christ and him crucified, so we better take advantage of what time is left, because if we wait to late thinking that we have plenty of time we may be one of the many that time will run out on. The word of God clearly tells us that today is the day of salvation; not tomorrow simply because tomorrow never comes. It’s always today so it’s today that we   better be making sure where we stand in the sight of God. Many has said they will get right with God someday, but how do they know they will live to see another day? God knows exactly how long it will take him to begin and complete the work of salvation, but if we wait one day to long there will not be enough time for God to complete the work. It’s a very foolish thing to think we can get right with God someday knowing that today is the day of salvation, but many keep      putting it off not realizing they have no promise of another day of life.

Many will die in their sins not realizing just how important time was. Salvation is available for whosoever will, but is it not a fact that many keep putting it off thinking they have plenty of time to get right with God? God’s word tells us that angels encamp about those who fear God, but you have no protection whatsoever from the power of Satan who is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Satan comes to steal, kill, and to destroy, but Christ came to give us life and that more abundantly, but each day one lives may be their last unless they turn from their ways and come to Christ who is the author of eternal salvation unto them that obey him. Many are told that just believing on Christ is sufficient for salvation, but they fail to realize that Christ is the word  of God that must be accepted, believed and obeyed before we can possess salvation. Those who think they will have just enough time to ask God to save them will be in for a soul shaking surprise when they stand before him on the Day of Judgment. So take advantage of what time is left before it runs out, because it takes time to get in right standing with God. Is it not a fact that you can miss taking an airplane by being just a few  minutes late, or miss your train for being a minute or two late? Listen to what Paul tells us in this verse of scripture that says, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.” It takes time to come to the knowledge of Gods saving grace.
