Scripture References: HEBREWS 11:3 and PSALMS 33:6

If you believe that God created all things, then you should have no problem whatsoever to believe that God created all things by the power of his spoken word. But have you ever considered the fact that if a person has been baptized into the body of Christ, which is the church, this is also a creation of God performed by the creating power of his word? The apostle Peter tells us these words stated in I Peter 1:23 saying, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” Notice the word “being” in this verse of scripture. What does this word reveal here? The word “being” means in one sense that something is coming into existence in a process of a certain amount of time. As an illustration, when a contractor builds a house it takes a certain amount of time for the house to be completed whether it be a few weeks or a few months or even maybe a year or so. The house is being built, which clearly reveals the fact that its a progressive work until it is complete so that it can be lived in. The apostle Paul tells us these words as stated in Ephesians 2:10 that says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Notice that Paul says that we are his (God) workmanship “created” in Christ Jesus.

How does God always create? He creates by the power of his word. So a born again son of God in Christ Jesus is of no exception. As Peter told us in his epistle of I Peter 1:23 we are being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of the incorruptible seed, which of course is the seed word of God. Gods word is referred to as being a seed in the parable of the sower. In Luke 8:11 Jesus said these words saying, “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.” Since the seed is the word of God, then its should be plain to see and understand that to be born of the incorruptible seed means to be born of the word of God as it is being revealed from Gods holy word, but that word must be revealed to us by revelation of the Spirit.

Looking into the realm of the confessing Christian world today you will find that there are multiplied millions of people claiming they are born again, but they have not been taught the truth of the matter. They all believe they were born again instantly when they confessed belief on Christ and accepted him as their own personal Lord and Savior, but this is not being born of the incorruptible seed of Gods word. Just to say that you accept Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, this has absolutely nothing to do with the creating power of Gods word. There is only one way that Christ can truly be received in the heart and this way is revealed in what John tells us in Revelation 3:20 that says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Just saying you accept Christ into your heart has nothing to do with hearing his voice, which means to hear his word. Let me show you that you must hear the voice of his word before the Spirit will take up his abode in your heart. In Acts 10:44 we hear these words that says, “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” Is not what happened here in perfect harmony with what Revelation 3:20 says? In this verse of scripture Jesus is said “I stand at the door and knock, and if any man “HEAR MY VOICE, AND OPEN THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM.” Now what has this to do with just asking Christ into your heart? Did not Jesus say that we must hear his voice and open our hearts door to his voice and then he will come into our heart? Did you hear what Gods word said when you said you accepted Christ into your heart? No you did not, you did what Gods word does not tell us to do. If Gods word don’t tell us to do something a certain way, then you can be assured that it’s not Gods word.

Now what exactly is the voice of Christ that we must hear and open our hearts door to so that he will come into our heart? Listen to what the word of God says through the apostle Peter as stated in Acts 2:38 that says, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Did not Jesus give the keys of the kingdom to Peter, which means that Peter knows exactly what to say to a person when asking what they had to do in order to be saved? Why do the greatest majority of people have a problem with believing and doing what Gods word clearly has to say? The answer to this question is simply because most people will believe just about anything they hear not knowing if what they believe is the truth or not. These kind of people will easily be deceived by the many ministers of Satan. Most people will accept and believe one of the many false teachings that are rampant in the land today, because they don’t know the truth of Gods word before they accept a certain teaching. They just take for granted that what is said is the truth without knowing or realizing it. This is why most will end up being deceived in these last days.. Gods word clearly teaches that in order to be saved or born again it is a progressive work performed on a believer as they walk in and believe the many revealed truths of the teachings of Christ, which is believing his gospel. It’s the cleansing and creating power of Gods revealed word that will in time conform the believer to the image of Christ. Being conformed to Christ’s image means the believer will be spiritually like Christ, who is our master. Jesus tells us these words regarding this in Matthew 10:24-25 that says, “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?”

To find out what it means to be as our master, which of course is Christ, we find Jesus again saying these words in Luke 6:40 that says, “The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.” Does God demand that we must become like Christ? Yes, because listen to what the apostle Paul says about this as stated in his epistle of Romans 8:29 that says, “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Do you deny what Paul is revealing here? Is it not a fact that we must become Christ-like, which means to be perfect and holy as he is? Did not the apostle Peter tell us these words in his epistle of I Peter 1:16 these very words saying, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” And did you not know that the apostle Paul reveals that Christ will return to this earth to claim his church and that Paul gives us a description of this church that he will return for as stated in Ephesians 5:27 that says, “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Are you a member of this church that is made up of members that has been perfected in Christ Jesus and ready for his return? If not then I warn you as Paul did in what he said in Colossians 1:28 that says, “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” In Christ is where perfection is, because there is no sin in the spiritual body of Christ, which is the one true church. So where are you my friend; are you yet dead in your trespasses and sins, or are you in Christ where their is no sin? “He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.” AMEN
