Reference: I Corinthians2:1-8
My friend, can your mind grasp thetremendous message contained in the above verses of scripture written by theapostle Paul, being inspired by the Spirit of Almighty God? If you canunderstand exactly what Paul is speaking about here then the impact of therevealed truth should cause you to rejoice with joy unspeakable and full ofglory. I want you to notice the last twosentences of the above scriptures where it says that God ordained the wisdom ofGod which was hidden in a mystery to be for the sole purpose of bringing us toglory. Our coming to the knowledge of the hidden mysteries of God, opens to usa vast and great house of teasures that will enable us to do the great exploitsthat is spoken of in Daniel 11:32. I want you to notice that Paul in the above verses ofscripture speaks about two types of wisdom which are the wisdom of God, and thewisdom of man. Paul tells us that our faith should not stand in mans wisdom butrather in the power of Almighty God. We have in the world today very many differentteachings concerning the word of God that the Bible contains. The greatestmajority of the teachings are based on mans wisdom, but of course you have tobe spiritually minded to know the truth from the way of mans wisdom.
Mostpeople today place their faith in the wisdom of man instead of the power ofAlmighty God. They are of course being deceived by the cunning craftiness ofSatan, not being able to see the falseness of the many teachings in the worldtoday. The wisdom of man, of which most people are placing their faith in, ismans great intellectual capabilities that enables him to speak with suchsmoothness and excellancy. The apostle Paul warns us not to be deceived throughphilosophy and vain deceit, which is after the tradition of men, and the rudimentsof the world and not after Christ. (Colossians2:8) Mans wisdom is nothing but thescience of philosophy which is dealing with the general causes and principalsof things. Listen to the average preacher today and you will find them talkingabout these general causes and principals of the things of the Bible instead ofpreaching the power of the word of God in demonstration of the Spirit. Theaverage preacher today denies the power of God by his reasoning with thescriptures. Mans reasonings are statements given to create, confirm, orjustify, their own belief instead of receiving and accepting what the Biblesays in its simple form. Mans reasonings are based on the prevailingcircumstance allowing them to make his decision or belief. When a man is facedwith the statements in the Bible about certain miracles, he will use reasoningand explain away any type of power connected with the supernatural realm. Thecarnal minded man bases his ideas and opinions on the circumstances about himinstead of accepting and believing the word of God. The word of God revealsthat God created man, but man today says that he descended from an ape. He getsthis crazy idea through his carnal reasoning. Since he won't accept and believewhat God's word reveals about it, God turns him over to a reprobate mind tobelieve a lie that will doom his soul forever. Man is not forced to accept andbelieve the record of the Bible. If he does, it will make a new creation out ofhim giving him power to do things he never imagined before. In Romans chapter one,we find what happens to man that does not want to retain the knowledge of Godin his thinking. God turns them over to a reprobate mind to make fools ofthemselves. They will go as far as leaving the natural use of the woman andburn with lust toward themselves in acts of homosexual perversions one withanother. The women will also do the same things. Looking at the condition ofthe world today should show you that the same prevailing conditions thatexisted in Sodom and Gomorrah are existing today. This is because man isrejecting the word of God and going his own pernicious ways. Your failing toaccept and believe God's simple way will cause him to turn you over to areprobate mind not being able to descern right from wrong. This is why evil is lightly spoken against today bythe average preacher. Unfortunately though, there are many who are beingdeceived by Satan, causing them to fail to come to the knowledge of the truththat the gospel truly reveals. Many are held captive by Satan's power thatcauses them to receive false doctrines instead of the truth that will set themfree. Satan has many ministers proclaiming things that the average personcannot discern as being false. The greatest and most deceiving tactic of Satanlies in the preaching abilities that his ministers reveal. They are filled withmans wisdom, which is nothing more than sinful pride, thinking they are greatin the eyes of God. Any minister who uses reasoning with the scriptures tryingto do away with plain and simple teaching as to what is stated, is a ministerof Satan. The Bible says that we are overcomers by the word of our testimony. Afaithless person is known by their lack of faith, by their carnal reasoningthey reveal, in what they think of the word of God. You either have a negativeor a positive attitude about the Bible. A negative attitude will always beconvinced by the prevailing circumstances saying that it is impossible to dothis or that. A person is eithercontrolled and governed by the natural laws of science or either by the laws ofGod that goes way beyond mans thoughts and ideas. The wisdom of God is having ahigher form of knowledge than what the natural man has. The wisdom of God willbe counted as being foolishness by those that perish, being filled with mans wisdom.Mans wisdom is his constant search for knowledge and understanding abouthimself and everything around him. When man with his high intellectual capacitygets his mind in God's word of the Bible, he twists its meaning bringing itdown to suit his own way and ideas. The word of God says that the wisdom of manis foolishness with God and that he takes the wise in their own craftiness. Inorder for a man to be wise then he must first become a fool. This simply meansthat man must get rid of his ideas, and his ways, and thoughts, and place histrust in the word of God, allowing God to be true and every man a liar. Thisworld today is in the condition that it is because of the fact that man in hiscarnal wisdom thought he could do things better than his creator. Man refusedto be ruled of God ever since he was created. Today he yet fails to take God athis word by his carnal reasoning with the scriptures. Why don't you accept andbelieve what the word says instead of trying to figure out what it is allabout? Just read and study it and you will be given the truth of it, but if youtry to reason with it, you will wrest with the scriptures to your owndestruction. Where is your faith resting???
