Reference: I Corinthians15:1-2

My friend as you begin to read thisarticle let me ask you this very important question. Are you a true believer ofthe true gospel or are you one that is believing in vain? Have you ever come tothe position in your life where you have settled down long enough to get outyour own Bible and checked to see if you are believing the very same gospelthat the apostle Paul taught and preached? I hope that you are aware of thefact that the odds are against you of knowing what the true gospel is. Did youknow my friend that you can confess religion and yet be blind as a bat from thetrue gospel that the apostles preached? Please notice that the apostle Paul issaying in the above statement that you can only be saved by your believing thegospel that he preached. The gospel that Paul preached was revealed to himthrough and by revelation of Jesus Christ. I hope you are not the type ofperson that says that Paul was a little bit too fanatical as being a gospelpreacher like many are saying today about him, because if you are then I amafraid there is not too much of a hope of your ever being able to come to theknowledge of the truth that the gospel contains. It is a pitiful thing to knowthere are some people in the world today that says they won't believe anythingthat is not written in red in the Bible. These type of people are in sadcondition because to take part of the scriptures and deny some will only make youmiserable like the Bible says you will be. When some people are faced with thefact that they were not believing exactly what the apostles preached they willsay that Jesus did not say that or else they will say "well Peter saidthat" etc.

Most people will not admit to the fact that they were wrong inwhat they thought was the gospel truth that the apostles preached. Are you thetype that will search desperately for an excuse for not accepting the truth asthe Bible reveals it? I hope you will read this article to see if it lines upwith what you believe is truth. If this article does not line up with what youbelieve then you should not get mad at it if you truly have the revealed truthof the gospel. If you are truly sincere about your belief that you have thenyou should be able to read this article just to see if you are believingexactly what the gospel says and reveals. You may go to a church that does nottake a stand for what the Bible says. If you do then you certainly won't acceptany teaching at all that does not fall in accord with what your church teaches.Does your church tell you that you are saved if you confess Christ as Lord andSaviour? Do you honestly think that this is all that the apostle Paul preachedsaying that it will save you if you keep this in memory as he stated in I Corinthians 15:1-2?Are you sure that what you are believing is what the apostle Paul preached? Didyou ever wonder how the apostle Paul taught about being baptized in water as towhat name you are to be baptized in? Can you take your Bible and find wherePaul said to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the HolyGhost? Why don't you take your Bible and see if you can find where he said thisas no doubt your church has told you ? You have probably been baptized in thename of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost but where in the scripturescan you find Paul saying for you to do this? I can show you where he said to bebaptized in the name of the Lord Jesus, but if I did would you say that you won'tbe baptized that way because Jesus said to be baptized in the name of theFather, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost as so stated in Matthew 28:19? Many peoplewill say that the apostle Paul and Peter did not do what Jesus said to do whenhe commanded them to go teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. These people will say they will do whatJesus said to do but they won't do what Peter or Paul said to do when they toldthe people to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Are you aware of thefact that what Jesus said and what the apostle Paul and Peter said is writtenin the very same book that we call the Bible? Why should you take one part ofit and deny some other part of it? You should be able to understand that thereis a revelation connected with the subject of baptism because the Bible doesnot contridict itself like some people think. Jesus said to baptize the peopleof the nations in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, but thenwe find the apostles baptizing the people in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is absolutely no contridiction in these scriptures. If you will noticevery close that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is not a name, butJesus Christ is, then you will be able to see the truth of the matter. JesusChrist is the only name under heaven given unto men whereby we can be saved. (Acts 4:12) Christ was theWord that was made flesh. The Bible says that the Word was with God and theWord was God. Can you in the face of this scripture say that this is a falsestatement? If God is the Word and the Word was made flesh why then can't youaccept this truth asking no questions about it? The apostle Paul tells us thatthere is but one God. Your church tells you there are three. Who is right, yourchurch or what the Bible says? Paul says to be baptized in the name of JesusChrist but Jesus said to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and ofthe Holy Ghost. Do you deny what Paul says thinking he is wrong by saying to bebaptized in the name of Christ? If you think Paul is wrong why then do you yetbelieve that any of the Bible is right when it is wrong to be baptized inChrist's name? If one part of the Bible is wrong then all of it could not beright. You must either believe and accept it all or else reject it all. Youshould understand there is a revealed truth connected with the subject ofbaptism because the Bible is the word of God and it does not contridict itself.Satan would have you believe that it does but it does not. If you will studythe scriptures asking God for the revealed truth of it he will give it to you.Paul taught that women were to be silent in the church and was not permitted tospeak. Why then do many of the churches today allow women to teach and ursurpthe authority over the man? Is Paul wrong about this too? Are you concernedabout this or are you the type that doesn't give a second thought about thetruth of the gospel? Paul said you can only be saved by keeping in memory whathe preached. Do you accept this truth or are you one that accepts Christ asSaviour thinking this is all there is to accept and this saves you? Is yourchurch teaching what Paul preached? Have you been baptized in Christ's namelike Paul says to do? Are there women preachers in your church? Paul said theywere not permitted to teach. Who is right, your church or what the Bible saysin reguards to this? Peter said you must be born again by the word of God, butyour pastor tells you that you are born again when you accept Christ asSaviour. Is Peter wrong here? Peter said on the day of Pentecost to be baptizedin the name of Jesus Christ. Was he wrong in saying this? Do you just acceptand believe what is written in red ink of your Bible? "Let God be true andman a liar."
