Reference: John 10:25-28

As you begin to read this tract, allow meto ask you this very important question. Are you fully aware of what the voiceof God is and are you sure that you are listening and obeying that voice as hespeaks to you? Now according to the above scriptures that is found written inthe book of John, we are told that the true sheep of God will hear the voice ofGod and they will follow him where ever he goes. Now I would say that there aremany people in the world today that may know that the voice of God is his wordrevealed in the gospel, but I also know for a fact that many of these peopleare not aware of the fact that not all voices in the land today is the truevoice of God.

You may believe that the word of God isthe voice of God and yet be listening to the wrong voice thinking it is thevoice of God. Now Jesus said that his sheep will hear and know his voice andthey will not follow the voice of strangers. The voice of a stranger that thetrue sheep of God will not follow is a voice that is not teaching andproclaiming the true revealed word of Almighty God as the gospel reveals it.Now we know for a fact that there are thousands of preachers in the world todaywho are not teaching the true word of God. If you are a person who is notconcerned about what you believe, then the chances of your being deceived isvery great. I say this because you absolutely must place all your faith andconfidence in God's word of the Bible and not in the person that may be tellingyou what the truth may be.

The voice of God is of course the truth ofthe gospel, but today there are literally hundreds of preachers saying they areof God and are proclaiming the truth that God has sent them to proclaim. Eachand every confessing christian today may think and believe that they arefollowing the true voice of God, but friend, there is a sure way of knowing ifyou are or not. This sure way of knowing that you are following the true voiceof God depends entirely on your attitude toward the word of God found in theBible.

If your faith is not resting fully in whatthe Bible has to say on any given subject, then you are one that is puttingyour trust in the arm of flesh and not in the everlasting arm of Almighty God.The prophet Jeremiah tells us that you are cursed if you put your trust in thearm of flesh instead of putting your trust in Almighty God. Please allow me totell you my friend that to put your trust in the arm of flesh is done by youraccepting what a man may tell you without your heart being fully assured that it'swhat God's word says and reveals.

Jesus said that there would be many falseprophets to arise that would deceive many. These false prophets are causingpeople to follow them without causing the people to be directed to the word ofGod of the Bible. A false prophet will not lead you to God's word, because thiswould mean that you would be more interested in the Bible than you would betoward him. To be a true follower of Christ means that you place all yourconfidence in what the Bible says, but to be a follower of a false prophet, this would mean that you would allow the man to tell you what is truth withoutyou being concerned enough to know if what he tells you is backed up by theword of God revealed in the gospel. Since God has chosen the foolishenss ofpreaching to save them that believe, this lets us know that God has revealedhis word to man so that he in turn can teach it to the people. The voice of Godis the truth that the true ministers will proclaim, but not all who say theyare of God are actually of God.

We are told that the Holy Ghost is theteacher of the truth and we need not that man should teach us. Many people getthe idea that they do not have to listen to any man that claims to be preachingthe word of God. They think that the Holy Ghost will teach them truth and manwill have nothing to do with it. The Holy Ghost can only reveal the truth ofGod's word through and by the ministry of the prophet, the apostle, theteacher, the evangelist, and the pastor.

The true ministers of God will direct aperson to Christ, which is the revealed word of truth of the gospel. They willnot reveal a spirit that will cause the people to put their confidence in whatthey say without stressing all emphesis on the word of God of the Bible. Theremay be quite a few preachers in the world today who seem to stress a lot aboutwhat the Bible has to say, but if you will listen closely to what they teach, you will find out that they only teach the letter of the word and not thespirit of the word.

The apostle Paul tells us that God madethem able ministers of the new testament, not of the letter, but of the spirit:for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life...  There is a great difference in preaching theletter of the word and the spirit of the word. To teach the letter of the wordwill only give you a mental knowledge of what the scriptures says, but to teachthe spirit of the word, this will perform a spiritual work on you and transformyou into the image of Christ filled with all his fulness. The converts intoday's nominal churches are not being changed into the image of Christ simplybecause they are not being taught the revealed truth of the gospel of Christ.Since the false prophet can preach the letter of the word this causes many peopleto think they are being taught the truth of God's word.

Go to just about any denominational churchtoday and you can hear them tell you exactly what the Bile says, but they donot teach the revelation of the scriptures. All that they teach are thingsconcerning what Christ did and the things that he said. They do not teach theway of salvation, because their version of salvation is only a confession ofaccepting Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Just to say that you accept Christas your Saviour is only acknowledging the fact that he is a Saviour. Christ isthe  Saviour because he died for allmankind. He became everybody's Saviour when he died on the cross, but toreceive him into your heart and life is an entirely different thing alltogether.

You can only receive Christ in your heartand life and have this fact revealed to you only by coming to this knowledge asyou walk in and obey the revealed truth of the gospel. Christ is revealed toyou by revelation of the Holy Ghost as he reveals the truth to you from thegospel. The revealing of truth from the gospel is the revealing of Christ toyou, because Christ is the Truth of the word of God. Jesus himself saidthat he was not only the way and the life, but he also said he was the TRUTH.

If you know the truth then you knowChrist. To know the truth is exactly what will set you free as Jesus said in John 8:30-32. The truth ofGod's word will completely transform the life of a believer into the image ofChrist. This is how the gospel is God's power unto salvation.....
