Reference: Hebrews 11:6, Colossians 2:1-3, and Proverbs 3:13-15
It is indeed a very strange thing how manypeople today hold and cherish so many things that are considered to be verydear to them. Some of these things are things that they owned when they werevery young. There are some things that people hold on to and would not takeanything for it because of the sentimental reasons that lay behind them. It'struly amazing to me how so many people fail to see the value of the book thatwe know of called the Holy Bible. The Bible to me is the very word of God thatwas brought to man by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. According to what theBible tells us, we as individuals must believe that God exists and that he is arewarder of them that seek him diligently. Unless you believe that Almighty Godis a rewarder and that it is very profitable for you to earnestly seek him,then you will not come to him and have the desire of knowing nothing but Christand him crucified. My friend whether you believe it or not the Bible is themost treasured book that this entire world can or ever will have. Unless youcan see the true value and purpose of the word of God then you will think ofthe Bible as just being another book to take up space on some book shelf. Thereason why the Bible is thought to be just a good book and nothing else isbecause Satan has blinded the minds of the people from the true value andpurpose of it.
Satan does not want you to know how valuable the word of God isrevealed in the gospel. As long as he can keep you you more interested in otherthings than the Bible he has accomplished his devilish work on you to cause youto lose your soul and suffer the penalty of the second death. God's word of theBible holds many wonderful promises that will benefit man in this life and mostof all it will benefit him giving him eternal life in a new world to come. TheBible holds a storehouse of fantastic and almost unbelieveable statementstelling us what God has for them that will love and serve him. The things thatGod has in store for man is kept from his knowledge by his refusal to receivewhat the Bible reveals. The word of God says that the natural minded man hasnever known or heard of the wonderful things that has been prepared for man ifhe would serve God and obey his every word. These things will never come toyour mind unless you begin to desire God's word above everything else. Ibelieve that there are many people that do believe that the Bible is the trueinspired word of God but are not receiving the benefits that it promises andreveals. The most common reason for this is because of the fact that they arebeing led by blind leaders instead of true sent ministers of God. If you arebeing led by a blind man then you will fall into the same ditch that he will endup in. Blind religious leaders cannot and will not benefit the peoplespiritually because they are void of the truth and cannot help themselves. Manypeople are beginning to realize that the church is not what they have builtthemsleves up to be. The church today cannot fulfill the longing soul of itsemptiness because the church has nothing to give to them. The only thing thatwill satisfy the longing soul and give man perfect peace is the truth of God'sword which is Christ. The word of God offers every person that serves God,honour and glory, but where is the church fulfilling the promises that thegospel reveals? The religious world today denies God in the fact that it doesnot manifest the God that the Bible describes him as being. The god that is beingmanifested today is none other than the god of this world, which is Satan thedevil. Satan's power lies in the realm of being able to deceive and blind manfrom the truth that the gospel truly holds and reveals. As we read the accountsof the old testament saints and the power they had with God and the accounts ofthe early new testament saints and the power they had with God, and thenmeasure them up with today's confessing christians, it can be easily seen thatthe same Almighty God is not being revealed. This is because of the fact thatblind clergymen are behind the pulpits instead of true sent Holy Ghost anointedministers and preachers. The Bible reveals that each and every single member ofthe body of Christ will come to the fulness and stature of Christ being placedin the body by the one Spirit. The churches today do not have this oneness inChrist with all its members having come to the unity of the faith and theknowledge of the Son of God filled with the fulness and measure of the statureof Christ. The clergy today has been blinded from the truth revealed in thegospel and they cannot benefit the people spiritually causing them to grow intothe fulness of Christ. Todays churches are nothing more than lodges with manymembers that can't even produce a spark of the power of Almighty God. Peopletoday have been blinded from the truth of what they can have if they wouldtruly serve the true and the living God that the Bible reveals. God's word is astorehouse of wisdom and treasure to them that believe and know the truth ofthe matter. We must through patience seek for glory and honour that can onlycome from God. Patience is the key that will open the storehouse of God'streasures. If a man's hope in Christ is in this realm of life only, then he willbe a man most miserable because the truth of the matter is that there will be anew world to come and only those who served God according to what his wordstates will inherit this new life. The Bible reveals that man can receive gloryand honour in this life and eternal life to come. If people really knew andbelieved what the Bible truly reveals then they would begin to seek God withall their heart, soul, mind, and strength because there is nothing moreprecious and valuable than what the Bible reveals that we can have if we serveGod true and obey his every word. Our text found in Proverbs 3:13-15tells us that the wisdom and knowledge of God is more precious than that ofsilver and fine gold and rubies and every other thing that a man could desire.The mysteries of the kingdom of God that Christ came and revealed has beenhidden from the mind of man for many many years through the cunning craftinessof Satan. Satan caused man to fall from the presence of God in the garden ofEden through the lies of the serpent that deceived Eve. God made all things inexistence placing man in control of it....
