Reference: John 3:5

Areyou aware of the fact my friend that the new birth is a great mystery and thecarnal minded person cannot understand how this is brought about? Are you alsoaware of the fact that the Bible reveals the knowledge of this mystery and thatthis knowledge is exactly what the Holy Spirit reveals and teaches each andevery believer? I know for a fact that the church world today is saying thatthe new birth cannot be understood, but I want you to know that the church isteaching this because of the fact that they are void of the truth on thesubject and they have in turn substituted their own theory and idea that thenew birth is an emotional experience. The new birth is not an emotionalexperience but rather the new birth is explained in the word of God, and ourcoming to the knowledge of this truth is exacctly what transforms our lifemaking us to become true born again children of God filled with his Spirit. Areyou aware of the fact that the word of God reveals that we must be instructedin righteousness until we come to the stature and the measure of a perfect man?The Bible tells us in Proverbs 1:7 that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:but fools despise wisdom and instruction.... Did you know that the averageperson will not stand still long enough to be taught from the word of Godbecause of the fact they have been taught that the new birth is performedinstantly on them when they confess to receive Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Ifyou think that you are born again when you confessed to receive Christ as Lordand Saviour then you are actually saying that you have become an entirely newcreature in Christ where old things have passed away and all things have becomenew. Are you aware of the fact that to be a new creature in Christ means thatyou have become an entirely different person with the former habits of thesinful life completely having passed away? Now please be truthful with yourselfand examine your life to see if all sinful habits are gone out of your life andthat all things have become new. Can you say that you do not partake of thepleasures of sin nowhere in your life? Please notice that God's word tells usthat all things have become new and that old things have passed away. Isit not a fact that if you are yet prone to sin in your life in some respectsthat this proves that you are not born again having become this new creature inChrist? God's word does not say that some of the old things have passed awayand that some things have become new, but rather it plainly says that oldthings have passed away and ALL things have become new. The old thingsthat is supposed to pass away is the old sinful habits of the natural life andthe things that have become new is an entirely different life directly oppositeto the siful life. Now friend can you truthfully say that you are a newcreation in Christ and that you are experiencing an entirely new way of lifeapart from the natural life? Did you know that the true born again child of Godhas been translated from a life of darkness, which is the natural way of life, and has been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son? To be truly bornagain means that you have been translated into the kingdom of God and living anentirely new way and kind of life. This new life is possessing a divine naturebeing able to live a life of holiness and righteousness. Jesus very plainlysaid that we must be born of the water and the Spirit before we can enter intothe kingdom of God. To be born of the water means that we must be washed by thewater of the word of God. God's word will cleanse us from sin as we receive andwalk in the light of it.  The commonbelief in the religious church world is that one's sins are blotted out at theprecise time they claim to have accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour, but whatthey do not realize is that Christ shed his blood for the new testament andthat obedience to it is what will cleanse them from sin as they walk in thelight of it. We are told by the apostle John that if we walk in the light as he(Christ) is in the light, then the blood of Christ will cleanse us from allsin. (I John 1:6,7) God's word will purge the conscience from dead works (whichis sin) as it is received in the heart and mind. Christ's shed blood was shedfor the new testament thus proving that it is his blood that put into power aredeeming plan of salvation that will perfect all them that receive and obeyit. Obeying the revealed word of God that the gospel contains will transformthe believer into the same image of the first born Son of God. The Bible tellsus that Christ became the author of eternal salvation to them that obey him. (Hebrews 5:9) To obey Christis to obey the revealed word of truth that the gospel contains. Obedience tothe truth will make you a true son of God. To be born again simply means thatwe must undergo the process of becoming a new creation. We all were born oncefrom the womb of our mother, but this was a natural birth. To be born again iscalled the spiritual birth. In order to be born again we must submit ourselvesunto God and his holy and righteous word as revealed in the gospel. The gospelis the "power of God" unto salvation unto all them that receive andbelieve it. The word of God will transform our lives making us a completely newcreature through and by the process of the renewing of the mind and thecrucifying of the fleshly desires. The common teaching in the world today isthat you become a born again child of God when and if you accept Christ as Lordand Saviour. You do not receive Christ into your heart and life by just yourconfession on him as Lord and Saviour. You must first realize that you cannotcease from a life of sin until Christ actually comes into your heart giving youthe power in your life to cease from a habitual life of sin. If you truly repentof sin you will come to realize that you cannot stay away from evil and ceasefrom it until the Spirit of Christ comes into your heart. Paul in the seventhchapter of Romans descibes perfectly the experience you will come to know andrealize if you truly repent and seek for God. The world today is led to believethat Paul was in his converted state as he describes his condition being proneto the power of sin in his life, but reading the last verse of this chapterwill plainly prove to anyone that Paul was set free from the sin in his fleshthrough and by the power of the Spirit received in his heart. Unless you cometo the knowledge of the law of sin in your own flesh then you will fail to cometo the knowledge of the truth that will set you free. Jesus said if we continueon in the word after we confess belief on him then we will know thetruth and the truth will set us free. The religious world today fails tocontinue on in the revealed word of truth after they claim to have acceptedChrist as Saviour. Just saying you accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour is only making a mental confession inyour mind that you accept him as being a Saviour. This does not save youbecause Christ is not received in this manner. Making a decision of Christ isonly a concept of the mind that he is Lord and Saviour of mankind, but thisdoes not change your condition physically or spiritually in the very least. Tobecome a born again individual you must submit yourself to God's word and obeyit. God performs this operation on you and he will convince you by his holyword of truth....
