***A False Gospel***

Scripture Reference: Galatians 1:8

The apostle Paul makes it crystal clear that if any man or even an angel preaches another gospel other than what they preached they will be cursed. Looking at the confessing Christian world today it's an evident fact that the clergy in both Catholicism and Protestantism has been cursed of God, because both religious organizations condones sin. The reason why they do, even though they are not aware of it, is simply because they don't have a clue of what the one true gospel of Christ is. It was the apostle Paul that tells us these very words in II Corinthians 4:3-4 that says, "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." As far as the Catholic doctrine is concerned it differs greatly with what is being taught in the many Protestant denominations that numbers in the hundreds if not thousands. The Catholic doctrine is certainly not the teachings of Christ, but is one of the many doctrines of devils that has risen throughout the existence of the confessing church world. The same is true with all the hundreds of different Protestant denominations in the world today with their many different doctrines being taught within their own ranks, but basically the many Protestant denominations hold to a certain teaching that has become "another gospel" and not the one true gospel revealed in Gods holy word.

This other gospel teaches that a mere belief on "the death" "the burial" and "the resurrection of Christ" is all that is necessary to believe in order to be saved. They have taken a single truth from Gods word and called it a gospel that will save, if accepted and believed, but this truth only pertains to the person of Christ; not to his teachings as a whole. Yes we must believe that Christ died, was buried, and was resurrected the third day, but this is only one truth out of hundreds that must be accepted and believed. Listen to what the apostle Paul has to say regarding the gospel of Christ as stated in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 that says, "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." Notice carefully that Paul says that the Lord Jesus will take vengeance on them that don't know God and that does not "obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." Now if the gospel is nothing more or less that a mere belief on "the death, the burial, and resurrection of Christ" then would you please inform me how we can obey that? All we can do with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, is to believe it or not believe it, because there is nothing in this to obey. So how can the gospel that saves the soul be just a mere belief on what happened to Christ at the end of his ministry? Christ had to die and shed his blood before his teachings revealed throughout the New Testament scriptures could become the power of God unto salvation, as Paul states in Romans 1:16 that says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." It's not being ashamed of Christ that became the power of God unto salvation, but rather it's belief and obedience to his gospel, which are the many truths revealed in all his teachings of the newt testament covenant. If you believe that you are saved just because you believe in the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Christ, then you have been deceived into believing another gospel even though Christ's death, burial, and resurrection is a truth taught and revealed in Gods word. Believing you are saved by accepting and believing a single truth from Gods word makes that truth a gospel, but the gospel contains many truths that must be accepted and believed in order to be saved. Notice carefully what Jesus tells us in John 8:30-32 that says, "As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Jesus did not tell these Jews they were saved just because they believed on him, but rather he said to them that believed on him to continue in his word and the revealed truths of his gospel would make them free. What was it that his word would make them free from? Listen to what he says concerning this in John 8:34-36 that says, "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Jesus told them that his word would make them free from sin meaning that his revealed word will cleanse us from all inbred sin giving us complete victory over sin. Sin is what keeps man separated from God, but the many false teachings of the false prophets that Jesus warned us about teach that you are saved "in your sin" which is a lie of the devil.

Why would God save us in our sin when sin is the very thing that keeps us separated from him? Did not "one sin" separate Adam from God in the garden? And did not that one sin plunge all mankind into sin and rebellion against God? To believe you are saved and still remain a sinner is a lie hatched up by Satan that has deceiving people by the millions. In Proverbs 14:34 we find the wise preacher saying these words that says, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." The word "reproach" means a shame or a disgrace, but most people don't look at sin being a reproach to God, because they have been taught that God does not see their sin. They believe that the blood of Christ covers their sin and all that God can see is Christ on their behalf, but does this mean that sin somehow has lost it's power and God can tolerate it? Does not sin still take it's toll on a person knowing how deceiving and devastating it is in a person's life? Does sin somehow become less destructive believing that Christ's blood covers it and God no longer sees it? No matter how you look at sin it still leaves a person in a rebellious life against the very nature of God. Why would God inspire the apostle Peter to say these words as stated in I Peter 1:16 that says, "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

How can we be holy still living in sin and rebellion against God? And did not the apostle Paul tell us these words in Titus 2:11-12 that says, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." Would you please tell me how we can live righteous and godly in this present world with sin and rebellion in our life? Can you not see that it makes all the difference in the world as to what you believe concerning Gods revealed word of the Bible? Can you not understand that only the truth and nothing less than the truth can and will free you from the power and influence of sin?

Listen again to what the apostle Paul has to say about the truth of Gods word in what he says in II Thessalonians 2:13 that says. "But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth." God has chosen us to salvation through "sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" but listen to the masses deny and come against what Gods word says about sin. The reason why so many will deny Gods word is because of what Jesus tells us in Matthew 7:13-14 that says, "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." The reason why most people will be going down the wide road that leads to destruction is simply because they did not seeking first Gods kingdom and his righteousness, as Jesus said in Matthew 6:33. Most people goes off to some church and they take for granted that what's being preached there is the truth of Gods word and so they swollow it hook line and sinker. You have to seek diligently for the way that leads to life, but very few has done this. We are told in Hebrews 11:6 these words saying, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." We must seek for God like looking for a needle in a haystack, but most people just took for granted that what church they started going to has the truth of Gods word and so they became a member of it. The wise preacher tells us in Proverbs 14:15 these words saying, "The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going." Satan knows that the average person will believe and accept the ways that are easy and has no strings attached to it. The broad ways that leads to destruction simply teaches to believe on Christ and you are saved and sin has nothing to do with their salvation. They believe they are saved in their sin and God can't see their sins and that the righteousness of Christ has simply been imputed to them on Christ's behalf. It's the simple and the unconcerned people that will believe this lie to be damned, but the wise man looks well to his going. "He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
