**OSAS**

Here is another devils doctrine being taught today that has causedmillions to be deceived that is called OSAS, which means Once SavedAlways Saved. Keep in mind that a false teaching may or may not have atruth concerning it, but in most cases a false teaching is a perversionof a truth found in Gods word. Nowhere in Gods word does it directlysay word for word that once a person is saved they will always be savedand cannot lose their salvation. Is this then a teaching that is notfound in Gods word or is it a teaching found in Gods word that has beenperverted? There is a truth concerning security in Christ, butdefinitely not like it's being taught in Christianity today. If OSAS isnot a teaching found in Gods word, then why are there so many peoplebelieving that it is? What are some of the scriptures that convincesmany that once they are saved they cannot lose their salvation? Let mesay first of all that every person who believes this OSAS doctrine asit is being taught today believes they cannot lose their salvation nomatter if they still live in and commit sin for the rest of their life. They believe that no amount of sins being committed can cause them tolose their salvation, and they will continue believing they are savedregardless of how gross the sins they commit may be. These peoplebelieving this doctrine found in Christianity today cannot lose theirsalvation as they say, but the reason they cannot lost it is simplybecause they don't have salvation to lose. You cannot lose what youdon't have or possess.

As an example I am not afraid that I might losea very valuable coin that is worth a million dollars simply because Idon't have one to lose, but even if I did possess a coin worth thatmuch I definitely could lose it. What needs to be proven first of allconcerning this subject is what spiritual condition a person is trulyin that is saved. Does a truly saved person still live in and commitsin as the millions of people do that believes they are saved and stillcommit sin? If we examine all the verses of scriptures that deals withsin, we will very quickly find out that a truly saved born againindividual does not and further more cannot commit sin. Now if a persondoes not believe this, which most do not, because they still do commitsin even as they claim to be born again, then they are in realitybelieving that they cannot lose their salvation either. What's thedifference in how many sins are being committed whether a few or many?

Does not every person who believes this OSASdoctrine in Christianity today still commit sin in their life? And doesnot all those who oppose this OSAS doctrine commit sin in their ownlife as well? Do they believe they lose their salvation if theycontinue to sin? These certain people do believe they can lose theirsalvation so what is it that can cause them to lose their salvation?Evidently it can't be sin, because they too still sin so what then dothey have to do to lose their salvation? Listen to what the apostlePaul has to say concerning this as stated in Romans 8:35-39 that says, "Whoshall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, ordistress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we areaccounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we aremore than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, norpowers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love ofGod, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Notice that Paul tells us that nothing is able to separate us which "is in Christ Jesus." This "in Christ position" iswhere there is no sin; so if we are in Christ and Christ is in us, thenwhat can separate us from Christ? Sin cannot simply because I John 3:9tells us that those born of God do not and further more cannot commitsin right? Can a person who does not and cannot commit sin lose theirsalvation? We got multiplied millions of confessing born againChristians today that still lives in sin saying they cannot lose theirsalvation, but do they have salvation while they still live in andcommit sin? Can those who oppose this OSAS doctrine as it's beingtaught today lose their salvation as they continue to sin as well? Howcan they have salvation seeing they continue to sin as well as thosewho believe in this OSAS doctrine? Gods eternal salvation does not havesin mixed with it. So if you have sin in your life, then you are notborn again, because those born of God do not and further more cannotcommit sin. One is either in sin or in Christ where there is no sin.Paul tells us these words in Romans 6:16 saying, "Knowye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servantsye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience untorighteousness?" So if you have sin in your life this definitelyproves you are not born again, but this does not prove you are not adisciple of Christ and that you don't love God. But if you deny whatGods word says about sin, then you are not a disciple and you willnever come to the truth of how you can be born of God and have completevictory over sin.

Only those that are born of God do not and cannot commit sin, butthis does not prove that you can continue to commit sin and believe youare born again like millions think. Listen to what the apostle Petertells us in I Peter 4:1-2 that says, "Forasmuch then as Christ hathsuffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the samemind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; Thathe no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lustsof men, but to the will of God." What people are failing to realizeis that as Christ suffered for us in the flesh we too must suffer inthe flesh and cease from sin. If you cannot cease from sin, whichnearly all confessing Christians cannot, then you are not believingwhat Gods word says about sin, but are believing a false prophetsdoctrine instead. Your believing a false teaching has caused you not toreceive the power of Christ in your life, but has left you believing onhis person only. We do not receive Christ in our heart by a mere beliefon him saying we receive him as Lord and Savior of our life, butmultiplied millions of deceived people are believing this. Jesus tellsus these words stated in John 15:5 saying, "Iam the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him,the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."Without truly possessing Christ in your heart you cannot obey what Godsword tells us to do, but with Christ we can do all things that Godsword tells us to do. Listen to what Paul tells us in Philippians 4:13that says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Didnot Jesus tell us in Matthew 5:48 to be perfect even as the Father inheaven is perfect? Does not Paul tell us in I Corinthians 15:34 to waketo righteousness and sin not? Without truly possessing Christ in yourheart you cannot obey any of these scriptures. And keep in mind whatJames 1:21-22 tells us saying, "Whereforelay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receivewith meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. Butbe ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your ownselves." Without the Spirit of Christ we can do absolutely nothingthat Gods word clearly tells us to believe and do. Multiplied millionsof people confess to be saved today, but are still bound in their sinand the reason for this is simply because they are believing the manyfalse prophets doctrines instead of believing what Gods word truly saysand reveals. Let me show you what Gods word teaches on this subject ofbeing secure in Christ. A truly saved individual is a person that thelife of Christ has become the life manifested in and through theirmortal body. This life of Christ is both sinless and eternal, but thelife of Christ cannot become our manifested life until our old sinfulnature has been destroyed and put to death. Our sinful nature is put todeath daily as we walk in and obey the many truths revealed throughoutthe teachings of Christ that each and every epistle contains written bythe writers of the NT covenant. Let Paul prove this in what he says in2 Corinthians 4:15 that says, "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." NoticePaul tells us the outer man will perish, but his inner man is beingrenewed day by day clearly revealing a progressive work and certainlynot an instant work like the many false prophets doctrines teaches.

Since our old carnal nature is destroyed and the life of Christbecomes our life can we fall away and lose Gods eternal salvation? Haveyou considered the fact that Gods salvation is eternal and not just atemporary thing? Gods salvation is eternal life in Christ and so as faras our life is concerned it has been put to death and can no longer bemanifested. Listen to what Paul tells us in Colossians 3:3-4 that says,"For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. WhenChrist, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear withhim in glory." Now if there is yet sin in "your life" thenyou are not dead (to sin) and Christ is not your life, as verse fourreveals. Now if Christ is our life will he ever forsake and leave us?Does not Gods word tell us these words stated in Hebrews 13:5 saying, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, Iwill never leave thee, nor forsake thee." SinceChrist will never forsake nor leave us what can we do to forsake himknowing we are dead and our life is hid with him as Paul tells us inColossians 3:3-4? Did not Paul tell us these words in Ephesians 1:13that says, "Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that yeheard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom alsoafter that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit ofpromise." Can anyone break a seal that God has sealed? How longwill this seal last? Let Paul answer this question in what he said inEphesians 4:30 that says, "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." Weare sealed unto the day of redemption, which is the redemption of ourbody when Christ returns for his church. The redemption of our body isthe last stage of salvation. Listen to what Paul tells us about this inI Corinthians 15:51-58 that says, " Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall notall sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinklingof an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the deadshall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For thiscorruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put onimmortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought topass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Odeath, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting ofdeath is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God,which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore,my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding inthe work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not invain in the Lord." When a person that is in Christ dies a physicaldeath, they die in Christ and they cannot possibly lose their salvationsimply because they are dead. Now if we are "spiritually dead in Christ"as we live, then how can we lose our salvation? There is no differencebetween a person dead in the grave that is in Christ, and a person thatis alive in Christ; they are both sealed in Christ and can do nothingto lose their salvation. Is this what today's OSAS is teaching it'smillions of converts? No, because that certain teaching is a pervertedview of a truth that is clearly taught in scripture. "He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches."......amen
