Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:8

Satan's ministers has taken the above scripture out of it's contextand has come up with another devilish doctrine that teaches the peoplethey are saved entirely by grace alone with no works on their partwhatsoever. It is not the grace of God that saves, but rather it's onlybecause of his grace we can be saved. We are saved as Paul clearlyreveals in the above scripture "through faith" but what thismeans is not being preached in today's many confessing Christianchurches. God saves an individual by his grace as he reveals truth tothem from his word. It's believing and obeying his every word that doesthe saving of the soul. This is why James tells us these words asstated in James 1:21-22 that says, "Wherefore lay apart allfilthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meeknessthe engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doersof the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." Realizing what James tells us here how can you continuebelieving that grace has saved you? No, grace does not do the savingit's "through faith" as Paul clearly reveals in Ephesians2:8. Through faith is not just a mere faith in the person of Christ, but rather it's belief and obedience to his teachings found throughoutthe NT scriptures. And this is also why the apostle Paul tells us thesewords as stated in Romans 1:16 that says, "For I am not ashamed ofthe gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation toevery one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." Pauldid not say here that belief on the person of Christ is the power ofGod unto salvation, but rather it's belief in his teachings, which arerevealed in his doctrine. Listen again to what Paul tells us in ITimothy 4:16 that says, "4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for indoing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."Do you hear Paul telling us that in order to be saved we must continuein the doctrine of Christ, which are his many teachings of the NTcovenant, and not just merely to believe on the person of Christ alone?

And does not Jesus himself tell us the very same thing in what he said in John 8:30-32 that says, "Ashe spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to thoseJews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye mydisciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall makeyou free." What was Jesus talking about when he told them that thetruth will make them free? Free from what? Let Jesus answer thisquestion in what he said in John 8:34-36 that says, "Jesus answeredthem, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is theservant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: butthe Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, yeshall be free indeed." We can only be free completely from sin bybelieving and obeying his teachings of the gospel; not just believingon his person like the false prophets doctrine says, which is adoctrine of devils and not the doctrine of Christ. To think you aresaved entirely by grace alone would mean that God saved you instantlyand obedience would have nothing to do with it, but listen to whatHebrews 5:9 tells us saying, "And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him." Pleasenotice very carefully that this verse of scripture does not say thatChrist is the author of one's eternal salvation by merely believing onhim, but rather it says to them that "obey" him. Is it not afact that if a person does not believe in Christ, then he will not obeyhim either? But do you know that a person can believe on Christ and notobey him? To believe on the person of Christ means to believe (1) hewas the Son of God, and (2) he died, was buried, and rose again, and(3) he died for our sins, and (4) he is the only way to the Father, and(5) he is the only one that can save etc. Just to think you are savedby believing on the person of Christ is like believing you haveconfidence in a building contractor that can build you a house, butbelieving he can does not get the house built does it? Jesus can save, but just to believe he can save does not save you. Believing on theperson of Christ alone cannot save you, because you must know how hecan save you before you can be saved. It's not believing on his personthat saves, but rather to be saved you must understand that Christ isthe "revealed word of God" that does the actual saving of the soul. The "revealed word of god"are the many words contained in his many teachings of his gospel. Theapostle James does not tell us to receive with meekness the person ofJesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we are saved, but rather hetells us to "receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls "if" we do what it says, right? Nowwho are you going to believe concerning this subject; the many falsedoctrines of the many false prophets that Jesus warned us about, orwhat the apostle James says about it?

Believing on the person of Christ is one thing, but to believe whathe says and teaches is something else all together. Gods holy word isthe cleansing, the creating, and saving power that will save you "if"you believe and obey what it says as it is revealed to youprogressively. You cannot believe and obey every word of God instantly, but rather we believe and obey it when we are confronted with it daily.Did not Jesus tell us these words stated in Luke 4:4 that says, "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Wemust live by every word of God, which is living by the faith of Godsword. Does living by the word of God lead us into a life of sin? Listento what Peter has to say regarding this question. In I Peter 2:21-22 wefind Peter saying, "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow hissteps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth."To follow in the footsteps of Christ means to walk in his many truthsthat will lead us in the pathway of righteousness; not in the pathwayof sin. But listen to nearly all of the multiplied millions ofconfessing Christians today that claim to be born of God still livingin and committing sin against God.. They claim to be born again, butdoes not the apostle John tells us these words as stated in I John 3:9saying, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Dothey say amen to this scripture or do they not just completely ignorewhat it says and go right on their deceived way believing they are bornagain regardless as to what that scripture says? So who are you goingto believe the many false and misleading doctrines of the many falseprophets that's come and gone or believe what Gods word says about it?Let God be true and count all men as liars until proven out by the wordof God..amen
