Scripture References: Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, 1 Timothy 4:16, James 1:21-22

Please notice carefully that the above four verses of scripture clearly reveals the fact that it is the gospel of Christ that does the actually saving of the soul that imparts eternal life to those who will not only believe it, but obey it as well. Are you aware of the fact that the person of Christ and the teachings of Christ are very much two different things? Surely you understand that Christ’s teachings is what he taught his disciples during his earthly ministry that consisted of approximately three and one half years. Seeing that the above four verses of scriptures clearly reveals that it’s the gospel of Christ that saves, then why are there so many people believing they are saved just because they believe on Christ and accepted him as their own personal Lord and Savior? How can just believing on Christ save your soul when it takes his gospel to save the soul? Listen to what the apostle Paul tells us as stated in II Thessalonians 1:7-9 that says, “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power..”

Paul is clearly revealing here that its belief and obedience to his gospel that will save you and not just believing on his person alone like millions of people has been deceived into believing today. Millions has accepted the lie that teaches that a person is saved when they confess Christ as Lord and Savior of their life, but what has obedience to do with this? How can believing on the person of Christ save your soul when it’s the teachings of his gospel that does the saving of the soul? Evidently most people are not considering exactly what they are believing. There is only one way that a person can be saved, and Gods eternal word tells us that it’s believing and obeying the gospel that does the saving and not just a mere belief on the person of Christ. To teach that one is saved by believing on the person of Christ is actually preaching another gospel that Gods word condemns as Paul tells us as stated in Galatians 1:6-8 that says, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Can you not see the danger is believing and teaching another gospel that is contrary to what Gods word clearly teaches on the subject of what the one true gospel of Christ is? What is commonly taught throughout Christianity today of what the gospel is? To ask just about any preacher as to what they believe the gospel is that saves, ninety some percent of them will tell you that its belief on the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Christ. We absolutely must believe that he died, and was buried, and rose again the third day, but this pertains only to his person and what happened to him at the end of his ministry. Christ taught his disciple this very truth, which is a truth of his gospel, but just believing this is not what saves the believer. The gospel, which is all the teachings of Christ that includes all of the twenty seven epistles that make up the New Testament covenant, is exactly what the gospel is as a whole, and not just believing the truth about his death, his burial, and his resurrection. How can just believing this save you from a life of sin that keeps one separated from God? Christianity does not teach their many converts the truth about sin. They do not teach them how deceitful and devastating sin is. It was the writer of the book of Hebrews that tells these words in Hebrews 3:12-13 that says, “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” Did you know that sin can harden your heart to the point that you will have no desire whatsoever for the things of God? Listen to Paul describe the deceitfulness of sin in what he said in II Thessalonians 2:10-12 that says, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Notice how Paul used the words saying, “deceivableness of unrighteousness” which refers to the deceitfulness of sin. All unrighteousness is sin, and Paul said they have pleasure in their unrighteousness even as they confess to know God and are born of God, but still living in outright sin and rebellion against God. They are totally deceived having been blinded by the god of this world, which is Satan. Satan blinds the minds of many through his many ministers that are teaching the many doctrines of devils that Paul warns us about in his epistle of I Timothy 4:1 that says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” A devilish doctrine is a teaching inspired of Satan and proclaimed through and by his many ministers that Paul speaks of as stated in II Corinthians 11:14-15 that says, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” These ministers of Satan are not teaching their millions of converts that they must live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world, but rather they are told that God does not see their sin and are counted righteous on the behalf of Christ. This is a very damnable doctrine that will sear your conscience and cause you to begin speaking lies in hypocrisy, as Paul tells us in I Timothy 4:2 that says, “Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” Hypocrisy is confessing to possess Christ and still living in sin and rebellion against God; of which the multiplied millions of confessing Christians is totally guilty of today.. Christianity today has evolved into nothing more or less that a multiplied millions of sinners just calling themselves Christians without any scriptural evidence of it at all in the life they live. The word “Christian” means Christ-like, and seeing they still live in open sin and rebellion against God, this clearly proves they are not true biblical Christians, but have been deceived into calling themselves Christians. To say you are a Christian and to actually be one is very much two different things altogether, because actions will always and will forever more speak louder than words. What about you friend, are you what you say you are or have you been deceived along with the many millions of so-called-confessing-Christians that still live in open sin and rebellion against God and his holy word? He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches…Amen
