Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 1:10-13
Of all the hundreds and perhaps thousands of denominational organizations in the confessing Christian world today, they all can be placed under three different categories with thousands and millions of members in each one. These three different categories are those who believe either in (1) one work of grace, or (2) two works of grace, and (3) three works of grace. And within each of these categories they all believe that each work is a work done by Gods grace in an instant of time. Those who believe in the one work of grace doctrine teaches that God saved them in an instant of time at an altar in some church and there is nothing else to be accomplished on them.. They believe they were saved instantly and will go to heaven when they die and enter into Gods kingdom to live throughout eternal ages. Those who believe in the two works of grace doctrine also teach and believe they were saved instantly at some altar in a church, but they believe they must be sanctified by a second definite work of grace at the altar apart from being saved. And those who believe in the three works doctrine believe and teaches that they were saved instantly at an altar, as the first work of grace, and that they were sanctified instantly at the altar by a second work of grace, and then they believe and teach they were filled with the Holy Ghost by a third work of grace with the evidence of being filled with the Spirit by speaking in tongues.
There are many different denominations within each of the three different categories and each denomination goes by a different name. There are many different denominations within each of the three different categories with different names they go by. The many different Baptist denominations and others within the one work of grace believers goes by a different name and differ somewhat in what they teach and believe, but basically they all seem to believe the same thing when it comes to being saved. After they claim to be saved they began to be split and divided among themselves on other teachings found in Gods word. And the same is true with the other two and three works of grace believers that has many different names among themselves and teach things contrary with each other after they claim to be saved by their doctrine they hold and believe.
Have you any idea of how many religious organizations are in existence around the world today? Can you not see all the division among them all? The Holy Spirit is author and revealer of truth and he certainly did not reveal all these different doctrines that’s so rampant throughout the world today. Only the truth will cause people to teach and believe the same thing bringing them together in one mind and one accord. So why all the confusion in the world today with all it’s hundreds of different teachings? The answer to this question is quite simple. Did not Jesus tell us these words as stated in Matthew 24:37 that says, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” What were the prevailing conditions in Noah’s day? All we need do is read Genesis chapter six and we can see what took place. The one thing that took place in Noah’s day that stands out from all other conditions is what we are told as stated in Genesis 6:12 that says,” And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Jesus plainly reveals that whatever the prevailing conditions were in the days of Noah, those same conditions will exist again just prior to his coming back to this earth. Notice that Genesis 6:12 says that all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth, which simply means that the life they lived in those days consisted of nothing but evil and wickedness. They had corrupted themselves and the thing that corrupted them was the sin that entered into this world through the fall of Adam in the garden of Eden. Since Jesus said that the same conditions would exist just prior to his return to this earth, then once again all flesh will corrupt his way upon the earth and it will be sin that will do it as it did in Noah’s day. In Noah’s day there was nothing being preached that could destroy sin, and so therefore sin took its toll on man and it totally corrupted his way upon the earth.
As we look into the world today, we can see that it consists of multiplied millions of more people than it did in Noah’s day. Man once again will corrupt his way upon this earth as they did in Noah’s day and it will be the same thing that will corrupt them in these last days, which is sin. Mankind today don’t see just how devastating and deceiving sin really is and for this very reason it’s going to corrupt mans way upon the earth again. It was the wise preacher that tells us these words stated in Proverbs 14:9 that says, “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.” Very few people will accept the truth about sin as Gods word teaches it, and for this reason sin will deceive them and it will be the power of sin that will corrupt their way on earth as it did in Noah’s day. How will sin corrupt man again as it did in Noah’s day? It’s the many false doctrines of the many false prophets that Jesus warned us about that will cause mankind to turn away their ears from the truth about sin as Gods word teaches it. Paul tells us about this in what he said in II Timothy 4:1-4 that says, “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” And again we find the apostle Paul telling us these words as stated in II Corinthians 4:3-4 that says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Satan, being the god of this world, blinds the minds of multiplied millions of people with the many false teachings that his ministers are teach-
ing in these last days. These many teachings are found throughout the hundreds of Prot-estant Churches as well as all the other religious organizations that do not teach that salvation is in and through Christ. What these many false doctrines are doing is searing the conscience of the masses of people causing them to speak lies in hypocrisy, as Paul reveals in what he said as stated in I Timothy 4:1-2 that says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” There are many doctrines of devils being proclaimed today as well as in times past, and the millions of people that are believing them has not heeded to the many warnings that Gods word has to say about them and so therefore countless millions will be deceived without knowing it. Looking at all the division we see and hear in the religious world today should open your eyes to the fact that once again mankind has corrupted his way upon this earth as mankind did in Noah’s day. Sin is the subject that will be ignored in these last days keeping mankind bound to the power and influence of sin and they will die in their sinful state and because of their ignorance of the truth that would make them free, they will suffer the consequences of the second death in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. Sin is very much like fire that burns. Play around with fire and one eventually will get burned by it, and to play around with sin will also cause you to be burned. It was John that tells us these words stated in Revelation 18:4 saying, “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” This is a call to come out of the many false Babylonian churches that are so numerous in the land today that are spsiritually dead in their trespasses and sins. “He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.” Amen
