I wonder how many people there are todaythat can say as Job said when he made the statement that he would trust theLord no matter if he would slay him? Can you say my friend that you will trustthe Lord no matter what may come your way or whatever you may have to gothrough? I know for a fact that most people will not yet claim faith in God ifthings do not go like they think it should. The parable of the sower proves thefact that many fall back when the way starts to get rough for them. Do youthink that you could say as Job said when all the things happened to him, thatyou would yet trust the Lord? Have you ever charged God foolishly for what mayhave happened to you in your confessing christian life when things did not seemto go right? Jesus said in his parable of the sower that because of persecutionthat arose when one stands for the word that many would get offended and ceasefrom seeking God and go back into sin. What do you do when things seems to godirectly opposite to the way that you may think they should go? Do you blameGod for not keeping you from troubles, trials, and temptations? What did you dowhen you may have asked something from God and did not receive it? Did you callGod a liar telling him that he did not keep his word when he stated that we canask whatever we will and we shall receive it? When Satan climbed upon yourshoulder and told you that you did not receive what you asked for and that thisproves that the word of God is false, did you believe Satan and charge Godfoolishly? Have you ever prayed and asked God for something and failed toreceive it? The word of God says to ask and you shall receive. Why did you notreceive what you asked for in the light of this scripture?

Do you allow Satanto convince you that God is not faithful to his word? Did you ever realize thatthe trouble is with you and not with God if you fail to receive what you askfor? Are you aware of the fact that God tries the heart to see if you trulylove him like you confess to do? Did you know that your confession in God doesnot prove that you love him? You can tell the whole world that you love God,but this does not prove in the least that you do. Your love for God is provenby your trust in him and by keeping his every word. Can you truthfully say thatyou trust God with all your heart? If you say that you love and trust God don'tyou know that he is going to prove your love for him? Did you know that Godproves your love for him by putting you to the test? Do you love God whenthings go real smooth and you never have a hard time? Do you love God when itseems like the sky has fallen down on your head? Do you love God when he failsto give you what you may have asked for from him? Do you think that you shouldreceive everything you asked for based on the fact that you are a good littlechristian? Do you still love God when it seems like he is a billion miles fromyou? God's word tells you to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do youthink that true trust is proven when things go right? What about when it seemsthat everything goes directly opposite to the ways that you think it should go?When you go to your church on Wednesday or Sunday night do you tell everybodyhow much the devil has tormented you, or do you still rejoice saying you loveGod no matter what comes your way? Did you know that if you do not truly loveGod in all your troubles and trials that your condition stands out like a sorethumb? Did you ever get around a person when they are being tested for lovetoward God when actually they do not love him like they say that they do? Ifyou want to find out how many bones and different muscles a person may havethen get in the presence of a person that is being tested during trials andtroubles that say they love and trust God when actually they do not. If you saythat you love and trust God but grumble and complain at the least littlehardship that you may have then my friend you are fooling nobody but yourself.A person that truly love and trusts God will yet have victory no matter whatmay come their way. This may sound impossible to you but I for one will tellyou that the God that the Bible reveals is a God of power and comfort to themthat truly know him. Listening to the averge confessing christian today willeasily prove to you who their god is by their testimony they have. The Biblesays that we are overcomers by the word of our testimony. A moaner and acomplainer is not an overcomer. You can only become an overcomer by goingthrough the trials that you will be faced with if you claim salvation. Thedevil will try his best to cause you to fall back into a sinful life. He willsucceed if you fail to put on the whole armour of God that the Bible speaksabout. The whole armour of God is put on by your receiving the word of truthand obeying it and to abstain from the pleasures of sin. You are fooling nobodybut yourself if you think you can hold to God's hand and Satan's at the sametime. Your failing to go through your trials and tribulations will cause you tobe a leaf in the wind when the storms of life come your way. Looking at whatJob went through compared to today's confessing christians, you will find thatmost of them are a stinch in the nostrils of Almighty God. Reading about thesaints of old in Hebrews 11 makes confessing christianity a putrifying sore in thesight of God. If you tell a person today about not having a television set intheir home they will think you are insane. If you try to prove to people thatChristmas is a pagan festival they will brand you as being a heathen. Tellpeople to cease from the pleasures of sin and they will look at you as if youare from outer space. Let the storms of life come at these type of people andwatch them. They no more trust God with all their heart than they do trustingthat an airplane can fly on pepsi cola. Friend, if you are not trusting Godwith all your heart then it is impossible to please him. The word of God saysyou will not be tempted with more than what you are able to bear without Godproviding a way of your escape so that you can bear whatever you are facedwith. An excuse will not stand against what the word says. Failing to trust Godis done by your refusing to go through a trial that you see no way out of. Godwill make a way where there seems no way. Fear is the cause of your failing totrust God. If you are full of fear it is because you are not receiving and keepingthe word of God. Where there is fear there is no faith and where there is faiththere is no fear. Only the doctrine of Christ will increase your faith andremove your fear. You can stay in your organization if you want to but Iguarantee that you will never have faith to conquer the storms of life that youwill be faced with in this life. If you can't trust God fully for yourproblems, no matter what it may be, then you're not what and where you thinkyou are. Trust is an unshakeable confidence in something. You can't trust Godif you are full of sin. Only truth will purge your conscience to serve theliving God. (Hebrews 9:14)  If you forsake Godthen he will forsake you.......
