If we were to ask the average person todayabout the truth concerning how many Gods there are, then I am sure that most ofthem would say that there are more than one. Why are people saying that thereare more than one God when the very word of God tells us that there is only oneGod? Do you my friend believe that there is more than one God? Checking eachand every denominational organization today, we can find that nearly all ofthem believe that there are more than one God in the Godhead. If you are atruly sincere person and truly love God then you will have to admit to the factthat there cannot be more than one God, but yet we see just about everybodybelieving that there are at least two or three. The average person will notbelieve that there is only one God because of the fact that they would have tobelieve that Jesus Christ is that one God. The church world today cannotbelieve and accept the fact that Christ is the only one Lord and God that theBible speaks about. The common teaching in the church world today is that thereare at least two or three Gods that make up the Godhead. Now how is it possibleto be more than one God when the very word of God tells us in our above textthat there is only one? Most people just can't see the truth of the oneness ofGod because of the fact that they would have to admit that Jesus Christ is thatone and only God. This they cannot do because they can't see how he can be Godand in many instances found praying to his Father yet in heaven.

The commonbelief in the religious church world today is that Christ and the Father arenot the same being. If this were true why then does the very word of God tellus that there is only one God and there is none other besides him? Ifpeople would allow the word of God to be true and man's word to be a lie thenthey could easily come to the knowledge of the truth concerning this veryimportant subject. If we are to allow God's word to be truth and the word ofman to be a lie then this means that we must believe what the Bible sayswithout trying to reason with it and disbelieve it when it seems  to be in contridiction to itself. God's wordmost certainly does not contridict itself, but Satan will get you to think andbelieve that it does. Now let me ask you this question. Why do you believe thatthere are more than one God when the very word of God tells us that there isonly one? Is it not a fact that you believe there has to be more than oneseeing that Christ was found praying to the Heavenly Father many times? Youthink that this proves that there's more than one God because Jesus prayed tohim and called him his Father. Allow me to tell you that to look at the word ofGod with a carnal attitude then this will cause you to believe that there ismore than one, but you are not allowing God to reveal the truth of the matterto you. Since the very word of God tells us that there is but one God thenthere has to be a revealed truth concerning the subject because Jesus Christ isplainly revealed to be the one Lord that the Bible tells us about. If Jesus isthe Lord of which the very word of God tells us that he is, then how is itpossible for there to be more than one Lord when the Heavenly Father isreferred to and known as the Almighty Lord God of the heavens? If the Father isLord, of which the Bible certainly reveals that he is, how then can Christ beLord when the very word of God tells us that there is only one Lord? If youwill read Ephesians 4:5 you will find the word of God telling us that there isonly one Lord. If Christ and the Father are not the one and same being seeingthey are both called Lord, then this would be in contridiction with truth.Since the Bible says there is only one Lord and one God then why can't you seethe fact that Christ has to be the one God in the flesh? The apostle Jamestells us that the devils believe there is only one God and they tremble, but ifyou believe there are more than one God then where does this place you in thesight of God? If you believe there are more than one God then you are proven tobe carnal minded and void of the truth, because the very word of God tells usthere is but one Lord and one God. The organization called the "JahovahWitnesses" has added the word "a" in the gospel of John sayingthat in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word wasa God. If this be true then the word of God is in direct contridictionto itself, because the very word of God tells us there is but one Lord and oneGod. If the Word was with God and the Word was a God then this makes two Godsof which the word of truth reveals otherwise. The very word of God bears outthe fact that Christ being the Word and became flesh was God in the beginning. If the Word was God apart from the Father then this would prove that there aretwo Gods, but the Bible tells us otherwise. The word of God plainly tells usthat Jesus Christ is Lord, but if you think and believe that the Father is LordGod and seperate from Christ then this makes you be a person that believes inmore than one Lord and one God. Why don't you begin to study the scriptures onthis very important subject and allow God to be true and cease from allowingman to be the judge of the matter? The very word of God tells us that Christ isthe Word and the Word is God and the Word was made flesh and dwelled among man.Why can't you see the fact then that Christ was Almighty God in the flesh? Ifyou will read I Timothy 3:16 you will find it saying that God was manifest in theflesh. If you think that the Word was a God with God then you are saying andbelieving that there are two Gods. Who is right about the matter? Does not theword of God tell you that there is but one Lord and one God? If you believethat the Word was God before he became flesh and was seperate from the Fatherthen this make you to be in contridiction to God's word of truth. Jesus plainlytold Philip that when he saw him that he also saw the Father. You will have toeither believe this statement or else disbelieve it. Most people cannot believeit because of the fact that Christ prayed to the Father in heaven and calledhim his Father. You may say that if Christ prayed to the Father in heaven thenJesus couldn't possibly be the Father and praying to himself. What you fail tosee and understand is the fact that Christ being the Word in flesh does notalter the fact that the Word is yet in heaven. When God the Word speaks, outfrom him comes his spoken Word. God's spoken word became flesh and dwelledamong man. God and his spoken word are one and the same. God created all thingsby the power of his spoken word. This spoken word was Christ that became flesh.God's word did not become flesh in the beginning. God's word became flesh whenthe Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary telling her that she would bring forth a son who'sname was to be called Jesus. Mary received and believed the word that the angelof the Lord had told her. People today think that Christ was seperate from Godin the beginning, but Christ was the Word that was with God being a very muchpart of him. God is the Word and we are told that the Word became flesh. Thisdoes not mean that all heaven was left empty of God and became bundled togetherin a body of flesh. God the Word was yet in heaven as well as on the earth, butyet they were the same......
