Reference: I John 3:19-22
Have you ever in your life asked forsomething from God and received it just like his word says you can if you askin faith? According to what the Bible says you cannot receive from God unlessyou believe in your heart that you will receive what you asked for without theslightest doubt whatsoever. You must believe without any doubt that you willreceive what you asked for or else you will not receive what you asked. I haveheard many confessing christians say and believe that God answers prayer andthat God has answered many prayers for them. Checking many of these confessionsof saying God has answered a prayer for them will reveal that God was simplynot in the answering of what was thought to be an answered prayer from God.Many people believe that God was responsible for every little thing thathappens in their life. The things that most people believe that Almighty Godwas involved in could be brought to pass by themselves with just a littleeffort of their own. By this I mean that many things that people are brandingas an answered prayer from God are only things that they themselves have doneby their own ability. Many of the things that people are giving the glory toGod for is actually degrading his great supreme power by comparing him in thesame category as with man and his power and ability.
The many people that claimto have their prayers answered by Almighty God are such little things that itis making Almighty God to look as if he has only power enough to blow his nose.Where are the people who are saying that God has performed a miracle such asremoving a mountain or some other great outstanding feat of miraculous powerthat Almighty God had to be the one that did it? If you will check the thingsbeing done today by the confessing religious world claiming that Almighty Godis the one doing it, you will find that they are changing the glory of anincorruptible God into an image made like to corruptable man, and to birds, andfourfooted beasts, and creeping things, exactly like it tells us in Romans 1:23. The thingsthat are being contributed to the power and might of an all powerful being, asthe Bible describes Almighty God to be, is down right sickening to me. Thechurch world today is full of the puny works of man thinking it is the works ofan endless and all powerful God that created the heavens and all things withinit. There is no worse thing that man can do other than degrading Almighty Godbringing him down to the level of his own creation of sinful man. Man is God'shandy work, but to think God is as weak and helpless as his creation isactually denying his existence as beingthe creator. The religious world today failed to do what God's word has said todo. This is why they are in the sickening condition that it is. The Bible tellsus to study to show ourselves approved unto God, but man today has failed to dothis. Man only seeks to be pleasing in the sight of people's thoughts andopinions instead of the sight of God. Seeking to please God is done by very fewtoday. The Bible reveals that they that are in the flesh cannot please God, butthey can certainly please man. The world will utterly hate and despise theperson that tries to be pleasing to God by their holding to the truth of thegospel as it is revealed to them. This is because the truth reveals to man hispuny condition as God sees him. Unless you realize your hopeless depravedcondition as God sees you then you will be deceived by false prophets andso-called Bible teachers into degrading Almighty God bringing him down to man'slevel in his sinful and helpless condition. We are told that we can assureourselves that we are of the truth by the fact that we can ask of God andreceive from him because we keep his commandments and do those things that arepleasing in his sight and not in and for the sight of man to see and know.Condemnation is to be condemned not truly believing that we will receive whatwe ask for with a clear conscience. The Bible reveals that sin seperates manfrom God making a wall or bearier between them. The coming of Christ hasprovided a means of breaking down the middle wall of partition between God andman bringing him back into fellowship with Almighty God. Obedience to the truthof the New Testament covenant will remove this wall from between God and manmaking a clear channel of communication one with the other. Our strickobedience to the word of God will remove the middle wall of partition which isa wall of doubt and fear. Sin in our life will cause us to have fear and doubtwithin our hearts. A true child of God is as bold as a lion as so stated in Proverbs 28:1. We are told inHebrews 4:16 to come BOLDLY to the throne of grace, that we mayobtain mercy, and grace to help in the time of need... It would be impossible to come to the throneof God's grace if we have condemnation in our hearts and lives. This is why weshould count it joy when we fall into divers trials and temptations becausethis is the trying of our faith unto perfection. We also should count it joy toknow that there were things in our lives that causes condemnation that we canovercome and remove so that our faith can be perfected. A person should desirethe word of God more than anything in the world because the word of God says inProverbs 3:13-16 that "Happy isthe man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. For themerchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gainthereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the thingsthou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in herright hand; and in her left hand riches and honour." A person's constant desire should be to please theHeavenly Father in all things they do and say or else they will fail to come tothe position that the Bible reveals that they can. The position where man canhave this perfect fellowship with God is called the holiest of all. We are toldin Hebrews 10:19-20 to, "Havingtherefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh." This way iswhat Christ came to reveal to man when he came to die for the sins of theworld. This way is revealed to them that fear God and keep his word. You do notfear God if you are not willing to obey his word revealed in the Bible. Yourobedience to his word will crucify your body of flesh and renew your mindremoving all doubts and fear. The Bible tells us in I John 4:18 that, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth outfear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect inlove." Perfect love isachieved by our receiving and obeying the word of truth. We are told in God'sword that if we say that we know him, but fail to keep his commandments, we areliars and the truth is not in us. But if we keep his word within us, then thelove of God will be perfected within us. (IJohn 2:3-5) Our constantstruggle to seek only to be pleasing to God by desiring his word will perfectus in him. Our failing to receive anything from him proves there is somethingin our heart and lives not pleasing to him. This we must find out and removebefore we can be perfect in faith.....
