Looking up the dictionary's definition forthe word "iniquity" we find a pretty good description that says itmeans; "a lack of justice; or righteousness; wickedness; sin." Jesuscalled a certain type of people workers of iniquity when they confessed to havedone many different kinds of works in his name. A more acurate description ofthe word iniquity is to say that people confessed to know Christ and did greatworks in his name; but in reality they were not born again of God possessinghis righteousness. Many thousands of people fit this very description todaythinking they are doing great things in Christ's name while all the time theyare living in a world of strong delusions given to them for their failure toreceive and walk in the light of the knowledge of the truth of God's wordrevealed in the gospel. Many people today are being deceived by preachers thathas failed to walk in the truth. If a man fails to continue in God's word forthe knowledge of the truth then God's word says that they will be sent strongdelusion that would cause them to believe lies to be damned. If you were tocheck each and every denominational doctrine you will find that it's originbegan by a certain individual that claimed to be God's man of the hour or thathe was revealed truth by some sort of a vision or dream etc. Looking at theLutheran Church for an example, you will find that a man named Martin Lutherwas the founder of this denomination of believers.
All down through the ages oftime since Luther died there are still many people who call themselvesLutherans that teach and believe his doctrine. The same is true with thefollowers of John Wesley; John Calvin; or any one of the other founders of therest of the denominational organizations in existence today. If you will checkeach and every doctrine that the churches are proclaiming you will find outthat they all teach that born again christians will yet partake in sin. Theyteach this because of the fact that the doctrines being taught behind the pulpitssays that the christians will have a sinful nature and a divine nature withinthem. If you fail to receive and walk in the truth of God's word that thegospel truly reveals, then you will be a partaker of a work that claims to bedoing the works of God while all the time you are not a christian, because youdo not know the truth. I say this because only the truth will set you free fromsin and transform your life into a new creature in Christ. A false doctrinewill sear your conscience causing you to speak lies in hypocrisy. A falsegospel will give you a false concept of salvation, but you will have a greatzeal to be an evangelist of the same doctrine that you believe. Your effortsthat you put forth will in no wise be for the cause of Christ as you willthink. Today's Pentecostal groups actually think that they are doing great andmiraculous works such as casting out devils; healing the sick; prophesying; butthey are the one's that will confess to Christ that they cast out devils etc atthe judgement of God. Many others will claim to have done wonderful works suchas having evangelized many different countries such as the Philippines andother small nations. Many thousands of people today confess to be born againchristians and trying to do what they believe to be for the sake of the gospel.Checking the doctrines that are being taught by the churches today, you willsee that basically they are all the same. They all teach that the christianwill have a duel nature consisting of a sinful nature and a divine nature. Theywill tell you that you cannot help the fact that you will yet commit sin, butthe word of God teaches the very opposite to this. The apostle John tells usthat whosoever is born of God does not and cannot sin; but we find the churchesteaching the very opposite to this truth. According to God's word, a born againchild of God does not commit sin. This is because Christ will be the life ofthe truly born again children of God. The false teachers today are saying thatthe born again christian will have the duel nature that partakes of both goodand evil, but this duel nature is nothing more than the natural sinful natureof man received in the garden of Eden when the human race fell into sin. Man'snatural state is a condition that he partakes of both good and evil deeds, butthe false prophet will tell you that this nature is in the born again child ofGod having Christ in his life. False prophets and teachers of God's word cannotsee the truth of how Christ will be the life of the born again child of God,but yet we find many scriptures pointing this very thing out as truth. The wordof God plainly says that sin shall not have power over the child of God, butfalse teachers will say the very opposite to this. A true born again child of God does not commit sin, becauseChrist has been formed in that individual and it's Christ being manifested inthe flesh. The forming of Christ in our very being is a process that requirestime and patience. The common teaching of the church today is that Christ comesin your life and you become a new creation in him at the very moment that youconfess to believe on Christ and accept him as your own personal Lord andSaviour. After the converts in today's churches confess to believe and acceptChrist as their Saviour they then become part of the organization and theybegin to do what they can for what they believe to be for Christ's sake and thegospel's sake. They in their own feeble power and ability try to do whateverthey are capable of doing thinking it is Christ in them leading them intowhatever work they get involved in. The Pentecostals have a strong belief inGod's working power and so they think they are endued with the power of theHoly Ghost to manifest all the miraculous works that the apostles did in thebook of Acts. What the world is blind from is the fact that the power of theSpirit is given to us to perfect holiness within our very being, which isaccomplished through and by the knowledge of the truth of the gospel.Perfection is the goal that the scriptures lead us into, but many today arelike characters of the past such as Hitler or some other person that cravespower to get gain and influence etc. When many people see the word power in thescriptures, they automatically get the wrong impression of its use and purpose.Luke tells us in Acts 1:18 that we shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost iscome upon us, and so many people think they receive the power to go and turnthe world upside down. The world may be turned upside down, but not by removingevery mountain and tree, or casting out every devil in the world, but rather bythe preaching of truth that will either destroy you or else save you. The truthwill knock Satan off his pedestal and will rile him up to the point that hewill try to kill you. Satan's ministers have rocked people to sleep tellingthem it's alright to sin as long as you repent afterwards etc. If you confessto be a born again child of God and you fail to receive and walk in truth, thenyou are in iniquity.
