Scripture References: Hebrews 9:8
Are you aware of the fact that the place called "the holiest of all" is in the very presence of God who is holy and man can now come in the very presence of God? But no man can come into the presence of a holy God with sin in his life. Did you know that before Adam sinned against God he had perfect fellowship with God in the garden? God would come down in the cool of the day and fellowship with both Adam and Eve, but the very day that Adam became disobedient to God by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam could no longer come in Gods presence. He had sinned against God and was afraid to come in Gods presence and so he hid himself among the trees. God had warned Adam about that tree and told him that in the day he ate of the tree he would die. We find that Adam did eat of the tree and Adam died just like God had said, but Adam did not die a physical death, but rather lost fellowship with God and died in sin and could no longer come in Gods presence. God made man on this earth to have fellowship with him, but sin had separated him from God and that fellowship was broken. Although Adam had sinned against God and lost fellowship with him, God had already devised a plan that would once again bring man into fellowship with him, but that certain plan was not going to be revealed until thousands years in the future. This plan was first referred to in Genesis 3:15 that says, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The seed of the woman spoken of here is a direct prophecy concerning the coming of Christ into this world and it would be him that would reveal the contents of this redemption plan. God was going to bring man back into fellowship with him like Adam had before his fall into sin.
When Adam fell into sin and lost fellowship with God, every individual born into this world from the womb of a woman was born possessing a sinful nature that kept them separated from God. Under the old covenant that God made with Israel there was a tabernacle made that contained a veil that separated the first part of the sanctuary from the second part, which was called the Holiest of all. This was the place that the high Priest went into once every year with the blood of an animal that served as an atonement for the sins of the people as well as for his own. Doing this for hundreds of years did not solve the problem of sin and certainly could not perfect the worshippers, as Hebrews 10:1 reveals saying. "For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect." God had in mind to bring man back into fellowship with him, which meant that sin had to be done away with before man could regain back that fellowship. But it's clear to see and understand that the law could not perfect man, as Hebrews 7:19 states saying, "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God." One may ask what the purpose of the law was seeing that it could not perfect man and bring him back into perfect fellowship with God. It was the apostle Paul that tells us what the purpose of the law was as stated in Galations 3:19 that says, "Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator." The law was only an addition to keep sin at a minimum until the seed should come, which refers to the coming of Christ, which was the seed word of God made flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. It was Christ that was to reveal a totally new covenant that would absolutely perfect man by taking away man's sin if it was believed and obeyed, as Hebrews 7:19 states in the last part of that scripture that says, "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. This bringing in of a "better hope" was the bringing in of the New Testament covenant that Christ was mediator of. This covenant known better as the "gospel of Christ" are all the many teachings contained in all the twenty seven epistles found written in the covenant beginning with the book of Matthew and ending with the book of Revelation.
Within all these teachings of Christ that was written by approximately eight writers is revealed the great redemption plan that will absolutely redeem fallen man from a life of sin back into perfect fellowship with God. Belief and obedience to these teachings will in time spiritually place a believer in what is referred to as being "in Christ" and in this in Christ position there is no sin, as I John 3:5 states saying, "And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin." There is absolutely no sin in the body of Christ, which is the one true church. So if any person is in Christ they are in what Gods word calls "the Holiest of all" where there is no sin whatsoever and once again man can have perfect fellowship with God as Adam did before his fall into sin. Looking again at the verse of scripture above of Hebrews 9:8 that says, "The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing." The way into this most holy place was not made known to man while the first tabernacle was standing, because that was only a figure or a type of what was to come later. It was Christ that finally came and revealed how man can enter into this most holy place with God and how to enter into this holy place with God is revealed in his teachings. These truths must be revealed to us by revelation of the Spirit of God or else we will never know these truths, but remain dead in our trespasses and sins and eventually suffer the consequences of the second death in the lake of fire. Since we know that it's not Gods will for any to perish, but to repent and come to the knowledge of these great truths, then it's entirely up to each individual to work out their own salvation in accord with his every word. This redemption plan is revealed within the scriptures of the New Testament covenant, but most people are totally void of these many truths as they are being led of the many blind leaders of the religious clergymen today that is yet dead in trespasses and sins. Today's clergy does not teach against sin simply because they are not free from sins power themselves. They are Satan's ministers teaching false doctrines that has seared the conscience of millions of people causing them to speak lies in hypocrisy. These ministers don't teach what Gods word says about sin, but will ignore the scriptures concerning this subject. Since millions of people are claiming to be born again and still living in and committing sin they will in most instances deny what Gods word has to say about this subject. It was the apostle John that tells us in I John 3:9 that whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, and further more went on to say that they cannot sin, because they are born of God. Instead of allowing Gods word to be true concerning this, they will flat out refuse to believe that scripture and go on their deceived way believing they are born again regardless of the fact that they still commit sin in their life. To reject Gods word will cause God to reject you, as we read in Hosea 4:6 that says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." This warning was directed to Israel, but is still true in our day and age. If any person rejects what Gods word says, then God will as he did with Israel reject you.
Did not the apostle John tell us that whosoever is born of God does not and cannot commit sin? Why then do multiplied millions of confessing born again Christians deny this truth? It's simply because of pride but listen to what Proverbs 15:10 reveals saying "Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die." Can you not see the dire warning this verse of scripture reveals? It tells us that those that has forsaken the way that correction will be grievous to them, but then it tells us that he that hates to be reproved about it will die. Listen to what the apostle Paul tells us in II Timothy 3:16-17 that says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." The scriptures of Gods word is to correct and reprove us, but if we fail to allow Gods word to do exactly that, then you are inviting disaster in your life and God will cut you off. Christ came specifically to this world to save us from sin so that we can have fellowship back with God, but if you like millions love the darkness of sin more than the light of truth, then you will definitely be cut off and die in your sins only to suffer the consequences of the second death in the lake of fire as Gods word clearly teaches. The place called "the holiest of all" is actually being in Christ where there is no sin. This is called the most holy place simply because there is no sin in Christ and so therefore we can have perfect fellowship with God if we are truly in Christ. But sad to say most people are still dead in sin believing they are in Christ and that God can't see their sin and believing it's because of Gods grace, when in reality they are being deceived and don't realize it. Believing this is a denial of the power of Gods eternal salvation to save from sin and keep us from sin, and Paul tells us this in what he said in II Timothy 3:1-5 that says, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." This description that Paul gives us here is the same condition that mankind was in just before the flood came and destroyed them all as Genesis chapter six reveals. Did not Jesus tell us that as it was in Noah's day so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man? Yes he did and we find once again that all flesh has corrupted his way upon this earth as mankind did in Noah's day. So if you have any fear of God at all, then do as Peter says as stated in Acts 2:40 that says, "Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation." He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches...amen
