Scripture  References: Timothy 4:1-2

There are many doctrines of devils in our day and age that mostpeople don't realize and for this very reason millions will be deceivedby them without their knowledge of it. A doctrine of devils is ateaching that is totally opposed to the truth as Gods word teaches it,and it's the many ministers of Satan that has and are teaching them inour day and age as well as in times past. To believe a false teachingis to believe a lie that will sear your conscience and cause you tospeak lies in hypocrisy. Satan's first minister that he used was theserpent in the garden of Eden that came to Eve causing her to believehis lie instead of allowing what God said to be true. God had clearlywarned Adam about eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and eviltelling him that in the day he ate of it he would surely die. But wefind the serpent came to Eve and told her that they would not die ifthey ate of the tree, but we find out that they did die as God had toldthem. So Eve believed the serpent having been deceived into believingit and she ate of the fruit and she in turn gave it to Adam and he atealso and they both died a spiritual death into sin and rebellionagainst God. Satan, through his many other ministers, has kept right oncausing mankind to continue to believe his lies and thereby cause manyto remain dead in their sin and rebellion against God. Satan'sobjective is to keep man away from the truth of Gods word and he hasdone an excellent job of it by blinding their minds with his many falseand misleading doctrines.

The truth that Satan's ministers blinds fromthe mind of man is the truth concerning sin and the Christian. We areclearly told in Gods word that Christ came to this world to save usfrom sin. It was John the Baptist that tells us these words saying, "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of theworld." And we find in Matthew 1:23 these words saying. "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins."

**Christ died for all sins past, present, and future**

Here is one of the many doctrines of devils that most people arebelieving in the realm of the confessing Christian world today. Thisfalse teaching says that Christ died on the cross for all sins of thepast, the present, and the future. People who believe this lie has nofear whatsoever to continue on in sin as long as they live, becausethey think that the sins they continue to commit has already beenforgiven and paid for by the death of Christ on the cross. This is amajor doctrine that has caused countless millions of confessingChristians to remain in a sinful and rebellious life against Godthinking that God does not see their sins. They believe that their sinsthey continue to commit has been covered by the blood of Christ and Godcannot see them, and that he can only see Christ instead of seeingtheir sins. They believe they are counted as being righteous eventhough they don't and cannot live a righteous life as Gods word clearlyreveals that we must. So they believe this lie that sears theirconscience as with a hot iron that cause them to speak lies inhypocrisy every time they confess to be a saved born again child ofGod. Gods word clearly states that those "born of God"do not and cannot commit sin, but their eyes has been blinded from thetruth of the matter by this false teaching they have accepted. Theapostle John plainly tells us these words stated in I John 3:9 saying, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Thesepeople that are believing they are born again and yet sin will turntheir nose up at what John says and go right on their deceived way andblaspheme Gods word to high heaven and think nothing of it. Since theybelieve that all their sins has already been paid for by Christ's deathon the cross, then they blindly remain in their sins not realizing thatChrist came to save us from our sin and not in our sin. If Christ'sdeath on the cross paid the penalty for all sins of the past, thepresent and the future, then please tell me why Jesus told the womantaken in adultery to "go and sin no more" asstated in John 8:11. If Christ's death was going to pay the penalty forall her sins that she continued to commit, then ask yourself why wasshe told not to sin any more? And if Christ's death paid the penaltyfor all sins of the past, the present, and the future, then why didJesus say this to the impotent man as stated in John 5:7 saying, "AfterwardJesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou artmade whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." Whydid Jesus tell this man not to sin any more unless a worse thing wouldcome upon him if Christ's death was going to pay the penalty for allsins that he was going to commit? Use a little common sense here andunderstand that Christ's death was not going to pay the penalty forsins of the present and the future as millions have been led to thinkand believe.

Let me reveal to you the truth of the matter of what God demands of us "after" all our past sins have been forgiven us. Paul tells us these words stated in Romans 3:25 saying, "WhomGod hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, todeclare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God." If you will notice carefully you will see that Paul tells us that God declares or demands that we submit to "Gods righteousness"after our past sins have been forgiven; and not to continue on in sinbelieving that Christ's death has already paid the penalty for any andall of present and future sins committed. And listen to what theapostle Peter has to say regarding this in what he said in I Peter4:1-2 that says, "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us inthe flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hathsuffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer shouldlive the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to thewill of God." Notice that Peter tells us that he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sinand not to continue on in sin, but rather that we no longer live therest of our time or our life in the flesh to the lusts of men, but tothe will of God. God clearly demands here that we cease from sin andsubmit ourselves to his righteousness; not to continue sinningbelieving that Christ's death has already paid the penalty for themlike the false prophets doctrine teaches. I will use myself as anexample and show you what Gods word reveals about this matter. At theage of 28 years old I came to God seeking for salvation and forgivenessof my sins that I has committed against God in the past 28 years of mylife. He forgave each and every sin that I had committed against himwhen I came in repentance to him in the month of September of the year1966. God knew exactly how many sins that I had committed against himin those 28 years of my past life. Lets say as an example that I hadcommitted 10,000 sins against God, which of course makes no differenceif they were less or even more. When God forgave me of my past sins, Ifound out that from that point onward for the remaining years of mylife, that I was not to continue on in sin, but I found out from Godsword (Romans 3:25) that I was to submit myself to his righteousnessinstead of continuing to live in sin and rebellion against him. I foundout that Paul said that God has declared "his righteousness" for the remission of my "past sins"and not the remission for all sins past, present, and future, like thefalse doctrine teaches today in the realm of the confessing Christianworld. And I also found out, through the apostle Peter's epistle of IPeter 4:1-2, that I was to live the rest of my remaining life (whichthus far consists of 41 years) to the will of God, and not in the fleshto the lusts of men. The apostle Paul also reveals this truth in whathe said to his converts at Rome saying these words in Romans 8:12-13that says, "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through theSpirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Can younot see how Paul warns his converts here not to continue on livingafter their flesh that would fulfill it's sinful desires, but was toldthat if they did they would die?

And does not the teaching found in today's realm of the confessingChristian world teach that Christ's death on the cross has already paidthe penalty for all sins of the past, the present, and the future?Believing this will cause you not to cease from sin and submit to Godsrighteousness that he clearly demands. If Christ's death paid thepenalty for all sins of the past, the present, and the future, then whydoes Paul tells us these words stated in Romans 12:1 that says, "Ibeseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye presentyour bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which isyour reasonable service." Why does Paul tell us this here? Let Paul answer this question in what he said in Romans 6:12 that says, "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof." Whyshould we not allow the sin in our flesh to no longer reign in andthrough our mortal body if Christ has already paid the penalty forthem, like the false doctrine teaches in the realm of the confessingChristian world today? Who are you going to believe; man's word or Godsword? Who did Eve believe in the garden; Gods word or the word of theserpent? Nearly all confessing Christians today are believing the liesof Satan's ministers that's been teaching for hundreds of years thefalse doctrine that says that Christ's death on the cross paid thepenalty for all sins of the past, and all sins of the present, and allsins of the future, but Gods word does not teach this deceiving lie. "He that has an ear to hear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches." Amen..
