Reference: Matthew 24:11
According to the word of God only theredeemed, who are the people that has been saved through and by the blood ofChrist, will escape the final judgement of God, which is the suffering of thesecond death. This second death is a place of torment where the soul of manwill abide forever. There are millions of people who are aware of thejudgements of God and most of them has been led to believe that they willescape this judgement and inherit life eternal. Most of these people base thisbelief on the fact that they are are saved and prepared for this great event totake place.
In our above text found in the book ofMatthew we are told that many false prophets shall rise and deceive many, buthow many people do you think there is that's greatly concerned about where theystand in the sight of Almighty God? I would say that there are utterly millionsof people who think they are saved when actually they are being deceivedthinking that they are saved.
I would say that the greatest deceptionthat a person can be involved in is the state of being deceived and yetthinking that they are born again children of God ready for the coming ofChrist. The average confessing christian today can without hesitation tell youthat they are a christian, but to venture further into the subject on deeperspiritual matters they will very quickly let you know that they are notinterested in what the Bible has to say on many subjects that it contains suchas the truth concerning water baptism, the Godhead, and other doctrinalmatters. Satan has succeeded to sear the conscience of the people today causingthem to be uninterested in spiritual matters. All that most people can tell youabout things concerning God is the fact that they believe that they are savedand ready for Christ's return.
If you attempted to go into just about any denominatinal church today and tellthem exactly what the word of God has to say on things concerning doctrinalsubjects they will be quick to tell you that you are only wanting to starttrouble and cause division among the body of Christ. The average confessingchristian today has no more fear of God than they do of a dead fly. Theirconfession of being a christian goes no further than just their saying to beone. They are no more concerned about their true spiritual condition no morethan their concern about some stray dog or cat.
This condition that they are in is exactlywhat Satan is the author of, but to tell them this will make them hate you.There are very few people in the world today who are being taught the deeperthings of God revealed in the Bible. This is simply because they have confessedbelief on Christ and accepted him astheir own personal Lord and Saviour. The greatest deception in the world todayis thinking and believing that one is saved on a simple confession of sayingthat you accept Christ as your Saviour. To say that you accept the fact thatChrist died for you, this absolutely does not save you and make you a newcreature in Christ. To tell this to the average person today who confesses tobe a christian, they will think that you are an unbeliever and trying todeceive them.
We are living in the day when people willhave only a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Having a form ofgodliness but denying the power thereof means that people will confess to be achild of God with their mouth only, but their life they live proves themotherwise. It's a sad thing to see that people are being deceived from thetruth, but to try and tell them the truth will only cause them to hate anddespise you. Anytime that a person fails to receive the truth of God's word,they will be sent a strong delusion that will cause them to believe a lie to bedamned.
A lie will sear the conscience so bad thatevil will thought to be right and good will thought to be evil. This is exactlythe condition of most people today. The truth of God's word will be like ahammer that breaks a rock. The average person today will call you a devil ifyou attempt to tell them the truth as the Bible reveals it. The truth in it'ssimplest form is saying that we become a child of God in a progressive manneras we walk in and receive the truth.
The false prophets and teachers areteaching that to become a born again child of God is done by simply confessingbelief in Christ and to accept him as your own personal Lord and Saviour. Tobelieve that you become a new creation in Christ upon a confession of Christwill cut you off from the revealed truth of the gospel of Christ. This beliefwill close your mind and you will think that you are saved. Your mind cannotreceive the revealed truth because it is not opened to receive it.
An open mind is a mind that can receivetruth as it is revealed. A false doctrine will sear the conscience and hardenyour heart against the truth. This is why truth will be hated and despised. Trytalking to the average confessing christian today and they will very quicklytry and change the subject and talk about something else. Christianity today isnothing more than a confession of the mouth. The people has been led to believethat living by faith is just to confess belief on Christ that he died for themon the cross. Christ certainly died for all, but to confess belief in this doesnot make us new creations in him. We become new creations as the truth of God'sword transforms our life in a daily process. Our walking in truth is how Christis formed in us and it will be him that will be manifested through our mortalflesh.
Anyone who believes they became a bornagain new creation in Christ by a simple confession on him as Lord and Saviourhas been deceived and they cannot grow in Christ. They can't possibly receivethe truth because their minds are closed thinking they are already a newcreature in Christ. When a person claims to receive Christ as their Saviourthey will then try to live what they call a christian life. This they do bytrying to cease from a habitual way of sin. They will soon find out that theycan't possibly cease completely from sin and they make the scriptures say thatnobody can cease from sin.
Nobody can see the truth about the sinquestion unless they have the Spirit of God in their heart and life. A deceivedperson will think it's utterly rediculous to believe that sin can be completelyovercome in our life. It's a sad thing to know that millions of people arebeing deceived from the truth of the gospel, but only the grace of God can openthe mind so that it can receive the truth.
There are millions of people who hasrejected the truth and for this cause God will send them strong delusions thatwill cause them to believe lies to be eternally damned forever. Many people arereceiving false doctrines not being sincere enough in their confession of beinga child of God. If you fail to place your faith and trust in God's word thenyou are an easy prey to Satan who like a roaring lion is seeking whom he candevour. Are you saved or are you deceived???
