Have you ever stopped to consider that there is a vast difference between the word “SIN” and the word “SINS“? Listen to what Paul tells us in Romans 5:12 that says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Notice that Paul did not say that “SINS” entered into the world by the one man Adam. Sin itself is a very powerful persuasive force that invaded the total man when it entered into this world. The word “sins” refers to the manifestations of sin in a persons life, which are doing things that is totally against the ways and nature of God. In other words if a person steals or takes something that belongs to another person without their consent, it is referred to as an act of disobedience meaning that a sin has been committed. The confessing Christian world has been blinded from the truth that is revealed in Gods word concerning this. They teach and believe that if and when they ask God to forgive them of their sins God forgives them, but what they fail to consider is that to be forgiven of the sins they have committed, this does not remove the sin that yet indwells them. The reason that we all had sins to be forgiven of is simply because of the fact that it’s the sin that dwells within us will continues to manifest itself outwardly in our lives unless Christ intervenes in our life. Asking God to forgive us of all our sins that we have committed against him, this does not cleanse the sin from within us.
So to be forgiven of committed sins and to be cleansed from sin is very much two different things altogether. Listen to what John tells is in I John 1:9 that says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” When God forgives us of our sins we committed against him, this act only caused God to forgive us of those sins and never to be brought up against us again. The reason why we all had many sins to be forgiven of is simply because of the power of sin that indwells us. In order for us not to continue asking God to forgive us of committed sins, we must be spiritually cleansed from the indwelling sin so that it can no longer manifest itself outwardly in our lives. Christianity fails to understand this great truth thinking that asking to be forgiven of sins continually being committed against God solves their problem, but of course it does not.
To be cleansed from sin can only be done by the cleansing power of Gods word. Being forgiven of sins committed does nothing to cleanse the sin that indwells us. Listen to what the apostle Paul tells us about being cleansed from sin in what he says in Ephesians 5:25-26 that says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” Do you hear Paul telling us that we are being sanctified and cleansed by the washing of water by the word of God? Listen to Jesus as he tells us these words saying in John 17:17 that says, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” Can you not see that it’s the cleansing power of the truth of Gods word that cleanses us from sin, and not when we ask God to forgive us of our committed sins? God does not cleanse the sins he forgives us of when we come to him asking to be forgiven. All God does is to forgive us of all those committed sins and forgets them, but to be cleansed from sin means to be cleansed of the sin that indwells our very being. It is Satan’s ministers that is teaching damnable and misleading doctrines that blinds the mind from this great truth. Listen as Jesus reveals this truth in what he tells us in Matthew 23:25-26 that says, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.” What did Jesus mean when he said that those hypocritical Pharisees made clean the outside of the cup and platter, but within they were full of extortion and excess? Can you imagine a woman washing the outside of a pot that was just used to cook something to eat without washing the inside of the pot? Would not this cause all manner of bacteria to form on the inside of that bowl before it was used again? Jesus used this as an example to reveal to us that its what is within us that must first be cleansed before our life would reveal a change. Did you know that Paul reveals to us what dwells within our flesh before we come to God to be saved? In Romans 7:18 we find the apostle Paul telling us these words saying, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.” Did you know that “this no good thing” is the very filthiness of sin? Listen again to what Paul says regarding this in what he said in II Corinthians 7:1 that says, “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” Do you hear Paul telling us to cleanse ourselves from all the filthiness of both our flesh and spirit, which will in time perfect holiness in the fear of God? Christianity does not teach this truth, but rather they teach that Christ’s shed blood covers all the filth of their sin and that God can no longer see them. As they believe this, sin is still being manifested in and through their life. They are not told the truth of Gods revealed word that will cleanse them first from all their inward sin. So they are left believing that the blood of Christ covers all the sins they continue to commit, but this is one of the doctrines of devils that Paul warned us about, which is widespread in the land today. Paul tells us this in I Timothy 4:1 that says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” This doctrine that teaches that Christ’s blood covers their sin is one of other doctrines that will sear the conscience and cause the person to believe lies to be damned. Do you realize this doctrine that teaches that the blood of Christ covers sin is degrading his blood bringing it down to a lower level of the blood of an animal? Was it not the blood of the animal that was shed under the law that covered sin? Listen to what Gods word tells us in regards to this in what the writer of the book of Hebrews has to say. In Hebrews 10:28-29 Gods word states this saying, “He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”
Do you hear the writer telling us here that Christ’s blood is counted as an unholy thing as the blood of the animal was? Christ’s blood does not cover sin; it cleanses and takes away sin. Listen to John the Baptist verify this in what he said in John 1:29 saying, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” You may wonder how the blood of Christ cleanses and takes away sin. Christ shed his blood that put into power the new testament covenant. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins and so therefore his blood that was shed on the cross put into power the teachings of his gospel. Is not the gospel of Christ the power of God unto salvation to them that believe and obey it, as Romans 1:16-17 states saying, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” So to believe and obey the teachings of Christ is what will completely cleanse the flesh and spirit from all inbred sin and thereby perfect holiness in the fear of God. Sin itself is a power that invades the total man consisting of a body, as soul, and a spirit. That inward sin manifests itself in the life the sinner lives. Christianity teaches that asking God to continue forgiving them of the sins they commit solves their sin problem, but it absolutely does not. They deal with sin after its committed, which is not dealing with the sin that indwells them. Believing and obeying the truths of Gods word will in time destroy inbred sin and thereby cut off its flow outwardly in your life. Those born of God (I John 3:9) does not and cannot commit sin, because they have become the children of God. God never did nor ever will have sinning sons and daughters, simply because Satan’s children are those who continue to live in and commit sin. I John 3:10 clearly reveals that sin is the determining factor that proves who is of God and who is of the devil. Those who commit sin (I John 3:8) are of the devil and those who do not commit sin (I John 3:9) are of God. So where do you stand on this matter? “He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.” Amen and Amen
