Scripture References: Romans 3:4
To let God be true means to let Gods word have the final sayregardless what the situation may be. Are you willing to let what Godsword says to be the final say or are you like millions who will believewhat man says? In the garden of Eden we are told that God had warnedAdam about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil telling him thatit was forbidden to eat of it, but we see that Adam became disobedientto that command did he not? God, who cannot lie, told Adam that hewould die in the very day that he ate of the tree, but we find inGenesis 3:1-4 these words that says, "Now the serpent was more subtilthan any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he saidunto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree ofthe garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of thefruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which isin the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it,neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto thewoman, Ye shall not surely die." Well Eve did eat of the tree and shein turn gave to Adam and he ate also and then as God said, they dieddid they not? The death they experienced was separation from Godfalling into a life of sin, but physical death also was passed uponthem as well. Adam would live a physical life to the age of 930 yearsand he died. Disobeying a direct command from God caused Adam to fallout of fellowship with God into a life of sin and rebellion againstGod. It was one single command that Adam disobeyed and look whathappened because of it.
Adam was first created in both the "image" and "likeness" of God,but when he sinned against God he was no longer in the likeness of God,but had fallen into sin and rebellion against God and was no longerlike God in his character and nature. Before Adam sinned he was withoutsin and so was therefore perfect and holy even as God was perfect andholy. In one moment of time Adam was perfect, sinless, and holy, but inthe next moment he became imperfect and sin infested his whole being. We can clearly see what the consequences were for Adam's disobedienceto God; he lost his divine likeness of God and became a rebel againstGod. Do you think that disobedience to God will still have the sameconsequences with us as it did with Adam if we fail to believe whatGods word says? Are you an individual believer of Gods word today, orare you like the millions of people today who ignore what Gods wordsays and could not care less what it says? Well lets look at a fewscriptures revealed in Gods word and see if we are a believer of it ora blasphemer of it.
What we find written in the scriptures of the holy Bible are wordsthat God had inspired to be written by all the writers of each epistlewe find within this book. Let us look at what the apostle John haswritten that is found in the book of John 3:3 that says these wordssaying, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say untothee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."Now you probably have no quarrel against what Jesus said here toNicodemus telling him that he absolutely must be "born again" to enterinto the kingdom of God, right? You may be a person that has confessedto be born again for many years, but are you aware of the fact thatGods inspired word by the same apostle reveals to us who is born of Godand who is not? Now millions of people claim to be born again today asyou very well know, but let us look at John's description of those whoare born again to see if anybody can be proved to truly be born againas this scripture reveals. John tells us these words recorded in I John3:9 that says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for hisseed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."Now what John says here is Gods word that has the final say on thissubject does it not? John being inspired of God said that "whosoever"is born of God does not and further more cannot commit sin right? Doyou still hold to your confession that you have been born of God whenyou come in contact with this verse of scripture, or are you like themultiplied millions of people today who say they are yet sinnerscommitting sin and still go right ahead and believe and confess theyare born again inspite of what Gods word says here about sin?
Are you willing to let Gods word be true as revealed here, or areyou going to be like Eve who was persuaded by the serpent not tobelieve what God said? Keep in mind that the serpent came against whatGod said and he told Eve she would not surely die did he not? Well whotold the truth of the matter; did God speak the truth of it or did theserpent speak the truth of it? As anyone can clearly see it was Godthat spoken the truth of the matter right? Adam and Even did dies justlike God said right? Well what about you? Has some lying false Prophetsteaching that was inspired of Satan deceive you into believing that youare born again even though you know for a fact that you still commitand live in sin? Is not this exactly what multiplied millions ofconfessing Christians in the world today is saying and believing? Theyare being told by Satan's ministers that their many sins are covered bythe precious blood of Christ and that God cannot or does not see theirsins, right? Are you one that believes this as well? Where in Gods worddoes it tell us that Christ's blood covers our sin? While you areperhaps trying to find where that is stated let me tell you what Godsword tells us in John 1:29 that says, "The next day John seeth Jesuscoming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh awaythe sin of the world." Did John the Baptist say here that Jesus came tocover sins with his blood, or does it say that Christ came to take aways the sin of the world? You will have to believe what Gods word sayshere or else believe what is commonly taught by the religious clergy ofour day right? Why would God cover up sin with the blood of Christ whenwe are told these words spoken by the wise preacher Solomon in Proverbs28:13 that says, "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: butwhoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." Notice that thewise preacher tells us that if we cover our sins we shall not prosper, but then he said that whoso confesses and forsakes them shall havemercy, right? To forsake sin means to repent or to turn from sin andnot to sweep them under a carpet right? Who are you going to believeconcerning this, your denominational teachings or what Gods word saysabout it? For anyone to believe that Christ's blood covers their sin isto do exactly what Hebews 10:29 that says, "Of how much sorerpunishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath troddenunder foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despiteunto the Spirit of grace?" Do you realize what it means to count theblood of the covenant, which is the blood of Christ as an unholy thing? To believe that Christ's blood covers your sin like millions arebelieving today is bringing down the precious and holy blood of Christdown to the level of the blood of an animal. Was it not the unholyblood of the animal that covered sin under the law not being able totake sin away? In Hebrews 10:4 we find Gods word saying, "For it is notpossible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins."The blood of animals was not holy blood like the blood of Christ is,right? So why are millions believing that Christ's blood covers thefilth of sin? Can you not see that to believe this is counting theblood of the New Testament covenant, which is the blood of Christ andunholy thing?
Who are you going to believe on this matter, what Gods word says, orwhat the many lying false Prophets doctrines are saying? Again let meask you this question, are you one of the millions today believing thatChrist's death on the cross paid the penalty for all our sins includingsins past, present, and future, like it's commonly taught and believedtoday by the masses in the confessing Christian world today? If this bethe truth of the matter, then why did Jesus tell the woman taken inadultery to go and sin no more? Why didn't Jesus tell her, likethousands of preachers are saying today, that his death would pay thepenalty for all her sins and that she could remain in her adulterousstate? If Christ's death paid the penalty for all sins committedincluding sins today and the sins of the future of the confessingChristian, then would not his death atone for all her sins committed aslong as she lived? Why then did Jesus tell her to sin no more if thisbe true? And who are you going to believe concerning this matter, whatGods word says, or what the religious clergy today says about it? Andagain why did the apostle Paul say these words in I Corinthians 15:34that says, "Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not theknowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." Why would Paul tellthese converts not to sin if Christ's death had already paid thepenalty for all sins including past sins, present sins, and futuresins? Who are you going to believe concerning this matter, what Paulsays, or what the religious clergy says about it today?
And again look at what the apostle Paul tells us in Romans 6:14 thatsays, "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not underthe law, but under grace." Again let me ask you; Why do we need powerover sin if Christ's death has already paid the penalty for all past, present, and future sins, like its taught throughout Christianitytoday? And why did Paul go on to say in Romans 6:15 saying, "What then?shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? Godforbid." Why does Paul tell us here that God forbids us to continue insin if Christ's death paid the penalty for all past, present, andfuture sins? Why would God forbid this if Christ's blood has alreadypaid the penalty for them? Can you not see friend that you are notwilling to let God be true according to his word if you are believingwhat is being taught by today's deceived religious clergy? Let mequickly reveal the truth to you about what God truly demands of us oncewe are forgiven of all our past sins. Paul tells us these words statedin Romans 3:25 that says, "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiationthrough faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for theremission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.'Notice that Paul tells us that God demands "his righteousness" for theremission of our past sins. In other words, when we ask God in genuinerepentance to forgive us all our sins we committed against him, we mustnot continue on in sin, but rather we must submit to his righteousnessand to live the rest of our lives in obedience to him. Look what Peterhas to say concerning this in what he said in I Peter 4:1-2 that says,"Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, armyourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered inthe flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the restof his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God."Who are you going to believe concerning this, what both Peter and Paulsays about it or what the deceived religious clergy of today says aboutit?
Notice if you will that Peter tells us that as Christ suffered forus that we too must suffer and cease from sin, right? Since Christ waswilling to suffer for us are you not then willing to suffer for him andcease from sin as we are told? Why should we cease from sin as Petertells us here? Notice that Peter went on to say that we are no longerto live in the flesh to the lusts of men, but rather to the will ofGod. So the rest of our life, which includes how long we will live, wemust live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world, asPaul tells us in Titus 2:11-12. Why then is the religious clergytelling the millions of confessing Christians that Christ's death paidthe penalty for all their sins they commit as long as they live? Why?Because they are void of truth concerning this matter. But if you wantto go ahead and believe these lies to be damned (II Thessalonians2:1-13) then go right ahead and find yourself in a devils hellsuffering the consequences of the fire instead of being willing tosuffer the afflictions with the people of God, than to enjoy thepleasures of sin for a season. (Hebrews 11:25) He that has an ear tohear., let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches...amen
