Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:8-10

Make no mistake about it friend salvation or to be saved is definitely a gift from God, but do you know exactly how to receive this great gift that God has to offer? Believe it or not, but Christianity and whoever else may believe that salvation is through Christ, they all are totally void of the truth when it comes to receiving the free gift of God. I want to first tell you what Christianity teaches today on this very important subject and try to warn you of the error that they are involved in. Christianity teaches that since salvation is a gift from God, then all they think they have to do is to receive it by faith believing that God has imparted to them his salvation. They could not be further from the truth concerning this matter, but of course most of them will deny what Gods word truly has to say about it.

They believe that God mysteriously somehow saves them when they confess belief on Christ and to accept him as Lord and Savior of their life, but please allow me to reveal to you that this doctrine came straight from the pits of hell itself and taught by the many false prophets that Jesus said would rise in these last days and deceive many. Yes God gave us his eternal salvation, but not given to us as if it was handed to us on a silver platter. God gave us his word revealed in the many scriptures of the New Testament, of which Jesus Christ is mediator of. What did we do that caused God to make his eternal salvation available? Man had everything to do with God doing this, but you have failed to realize that it was because of sin that entered into this world through Adam. Gods eternal salvation will destroy sin in your life only if you believe, obey, and live by every word that proceeded from the mouth of God, as Luke 4:4 that says, “And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” So God gave us his eternal word revealed through Christ that was later written in 27 epistles by eight men and sent to the church so many years after Pentecost.
Within these 27 epistles is revealed Gods great redemption plan that will positively redeem fallen man from a life of sin and back into perfect fellowship with God. So his salvation is not given to us in a personal way by just believing that salvation is a gift that is received by an act of faith, but rather God gave us his eternal salvation revealed in the contents of the 27 epistles written by the early disciples of Christ. Christianity believes that God imparts his salvation to everyone that confesses belief on Christ accepting him as Lord and Savior of their life, but this certainly is not the truth of the matter. God has given us his salvation that is revealed within his word of the New Testament covenant. So in order to be saved and to receive his salvation we must believe and obey his every word. Listen to the writer of the book of Hebrews as he gives us a revelation of this truth in what is stated in Hebrews 5:9 that says, “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.” Gods eternal salvation is revealed within all the teachings of Christ and to them that will believe and obey it. Listen to Paul concerning this in what he tells us in Romans 1:16 that says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Is not Paul telling us here that it’s the gospel of Christ, which are his many teachings, that is the power of God unto salvation? Why then has multiplied millions of confessing Christians believe they were saved at some altar in some church? Salvation is not found at an altar, but rather its found written in the pages of Gods holy word of the New Testament. Listen to the apostle Peter that tells us these words concerning this as stated in 2 Peter 1:3-4 that says, “ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Notice that Peter tells us that we become partakes of the divine nature (of Christ) and not partaking of his nature by going down to some altar and asking God to save us. Gods salvation that will save your soul, is revealed in his word of the Bible and did not Paul tell us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling? So how were you saved at some altar or by just believing on Christ when Gods word plainly tells us that its his word that does the saving of the soul?
Listen to the apostle James concerning this in what he said in James 1:21-22 that says, “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Is it not crystal clear to see that it’s the engrafted word of God that does the saving of the soul if his word is both heard and obeyed? So how were millions of people saved at some altar completely bypassing the word that does the saving of the soil? You must understand that God gave us his salvation revealed in his word of the Bible and its up to us as individuals to work it out by believing and obeying his every truth taught in his word. God has given us his word revealed in a covenant, which is an agreement between God and man. If we believe and obey his every command revealed in his word, this is what saves our soul. Most people fail to understand that the gift of God, which is to be saved, is given to us within his word and its up to us if we truly want to be saved. Listen to what Paul tells us concerning this in what he said in I Timothy 4:16 that says, “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” Did not Paul tell us that to continue in the doctrine is what will save us and those also that will hear us? So how in the world can a person be saved by going down to some altar and asking God to save them? Did not the writer of the book of Hebrews tells us in Hebrews 2:3 that says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.” Multiplied millions of people are being deceived by neglecting the salvation that is revealed in Gods word and are being deceived by giving heed to the commandments and doctrines of men. These doctrines of men are the many doctrines that the many false prophets are teaching, of which Jesus warned us about. In Matthew 24:11 these words saying, “ And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” All these many doctrines of these false prophets are the many doctrines of devils that Paul warned us about in these last days. Listen as Paul tells us these words stated in I Timothy 4:1-2 that says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” Are you one of the millions that believe you were saved at some altar when you say you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior? Yes you may know that to be saved is a gift form God, but you failed to realize that in order to be saved you must believe and obey the teachings of Christ, and not just on his person like millions have been deceived into believing. God gave us the saving power of his word revealed in the holy Bible, but its up to us to believe and obey it. God gave mankind his word simply because of sin that enslaved him and its by believing and obey his word that we can be redeemed from sin back into perfect fellowship with God. What about you friend, are you willing to let God be true according to his holy word and let every man be a liar until proven out otherwise? “Revelation 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” AMEN AND AMEN
