The word "advice" is a word that means to be instructed or counseled about something that seems to be too difficult for us to handle ourselves. There has no doubt  been a number of times that  certain circumstances has risen in our lives that we did not perhaps handle the right way  and found ourselves in a very disappointed situation that seemingly has made the  problem worse. Some of these situations should have been thought of as being more serious and seek the advice of others  concerning it before a hasty decision was made. People make decisions all the time as they live their life and no doubt some do seek the advice of others before they come to a certain decision about a matter. Many people may buy a certain instruction book to find out what may be the best way to  accomplish whatever they have in mind to do, which in many instances can solve their problem concerning it. It's no doubt the right thing to do to ask the advice of others if you think perhaps you may be somewhat incapable of making the right decision about something if it is a very serious situation. We all know there is both good advice and bad advice that can be  accepted from different people that will have either a good or a bad impact on our daily lives in one way or another. This can be very true in both our physical and spiritual realm of life. But I wonder how many people have taken into consideration the things that pertain to God that we find written in the Holy Bible. We should know that Gods words are words that can impart   eternal life to the believer, as so stated in John 6:68 that says, "Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of  eternal life." But how many people have taken the advice of someone else when it comes to what they believe about Gods word? Do you realize that when you listen and accept what someone may say about Gods word that you are  listening and being advised in what you should accept and believe? Have they given you sound advice that has helped you in your walk with Christ or do you yet find yourself in bondage to sin and disappointment in your life? Are you aware of the fact that Christ came to set us free from a life of sin, which is a life of bondage?

I ask you this, because we are told by the apostle Paul these words in Romans 8:28 thatsays, "And we know that all things work together for good to them thatlove God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."Whatever or whoever you are listening to in things       concerningGods word is either good advice or bad advice and the truth of it willbe determined in your life whether it be a life yet of disappointmentand frustration or a life of peace, quietness, and assurance for everas stated in Isaiah 32: 17 thatsays, "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect ofrighteousness quietness and assurance forever." Sin in your life  cannot give you the assurance of  having Gods eternal salvation in your life, but the very opposite. And consider again what the prophet Isaiah tells us in Isaiah 59:1-2 that says, "Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: Isaiah 59:2 Butyour iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sinshave hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Now listen to theconclusion of the matter and examine yourself in the mirror of God'sword. 1 John 3:9 "Whosoeveris born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: andhe cannot sin, because he is born of God." Is the advice you arelistening to bringing you to this conclusion? If not, then my advice toyou is to get yourself another advisor.
