The religious leaders behind the pulpits today have blasphemed the truth concerning the Righteousness Of God and what it really is. Jesus himself said in Matthew 5:17-18 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. What did Jesus mean when He said, “I am come to fulfill the Law.? John said in, John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. The “Law” spoken here is the law of Moses that is contained in the first five books of the Old Testament covenant, which also includes the laws of the Ten Commandments.

God made two covenants with man, the first being the OT covenant that He made with the nation of Israel, and the second being the NT covenant He made with both the house of Israel, and the house of Judah. Why would God make a second covenant with Israel seeing that He had already made a covenant with them? We find the writer of Hebrews saying in Hebrews 8:6 referring to Christ, that He hath obtained a more excellent ministry by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

I am so thankful to have been given an understanding of these better promises and what it brought in. The apostil Paul tells us in, 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Hebrews 9:1 speaks about the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. It was a covenant of ordinances written in tables of stone which gave the people a stony heart.. Having a stony heart was the reason Jesus fulfilled the old Law by bringing in grace and truth, the truth that is ministered to the believer that takes away that old stony heart and replaces it with a heart of flesh with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart “however, the Law of the commandments was not nailed to the cross doing away with them, but rather, the fulfillment of the law would "change the way we worship God".

"True worshippers of God". But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him, as Jesus tells us in John 4:23. There is a big difference between the law of righteousness and Gods righteousness. The law of righteousness was attained by keeping the law of Moses, which was not a life that produced faith. Living by the law is not living by faith. Romans 10:5 says, For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. Those living under the old law lived by the righteousness which is of the Law of the commandments and not the righteousness of God. Why? because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. This is where Preachers and Teachers blaspheme the word of God saying, it’s not by the works that we do, but rather it’s just by having faith in what Jesus did.

"Thank God" those who truly know God have been enlightened to the fact that there is a resting place found only in the Lord who is our Sabbath. Paul said in Romans 9:29 Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. Luke 8:11 tells us The seed is the word of God. We live by faith that comes by hearing God’s word revealed in the gospel, or in the teachings of Christ. The first covenant was only added to keep sin at a minimum until that seed who is Christ the Lord of the Sabaoth came to fulfill the old law.. As described in Colossians 2:13&14 saying, Being dead in our sins and the uncircumcision of our flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven all our trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; The writer of Hebrews said in, Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

That was prophesied to come to pass way back in the book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah 31:33 saying,  But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Notice God said, I will put my law in their inward parts. Paul tells us in, 2 Corinthians 4:16 "Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

"Thank God" there are those who are in the world, but not of the world, in the flesh, but not of the flesh. Those who do fear God. Hebrews 4:1 says, Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Hebrews 4:3 says, For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Hebrews 4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Hebrews 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Hebrews 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. Hebrews 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

To get down to the foundation, to the root of what the fulfillment of the law is, is that it deals’ with the conscience of man. And it all begins by having the fear of God within our hearts. 2 Corinthians 5:11 says, Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. Paul said in, 2 Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity. It starts by having first a love for God and His word, with a purified heart, in a good conscience state of mind, living in faith unto God. Or in the word of Paul to Timothy, 1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: It’s having a genuine love, a heartfelt love, the deepest love that is possible to achieve. You will eat, sleep, and meditate on God and His word the rest of your life. When this happens to you!… then you have made the real connection with God that all the demons of darkness can’t take from you.
