If you are a believer, and a hearer, and a doer of God's Holy word;
You will read this poem, and not get disturbed.
I'm not writing this letter to make you mad,
or to hurt your feelings, or to make you sad.
I've entitled this poem, "False Teachers, and Boring Preachers."
Pastors and clergymen behind the pulpits;
the biggest majority is hypocrites.
They'll sweet-talk the people, and tickle their ears;
Preach John 3:16, and that's all you hear.
He'll tell his people in the congregation;
only believe, and you've got salvation.
Pay your tithes, and write your name on a book;
Now you're in, line, sinker, and hook.
Now here comes the rules on what they believe;
It's enough to make you vomit, and give you the heaves.
Just believe on God, and come to church once a week;
That's all there is to it, as a manner of speech.
If this is your version of becoming a saint;
Then my dear friend, a saint you aint!
To be in Christ is more than confession;
Read James 21:22, there you will find a lesson.
Tacking the name of a church on your front door?
You should read the Book of Revelations,
where it speaks of the whore;
Who has many daughters (hundreds or more.)
The denominational churches are accounted with these,
They will find in the end that God they didn't please.
What kind of church is God coming back after?
Read Ephesians 5:27, this is the chapter.
You'd better take heed to what saith the Lord;
Get in the word of God, and agree with one accord.
Everyone is saying, "I have the truth,
Why, I've been taught this way from the youth!
I know my pastor wouldn't lie to me:"
That's where me and you my friend, disagree.
Reading St. Marks gospel, 13:22;
false Christs and false prophets shall arise and deceive you.
If you don't believe it, read it for yourself;
Go get your Bible from it's dust-covered shelf.
Just read and obey, and you'll get the truth;
This will be the only way that Satan will let you loose.
How many different doctrines and religions are prevailing today?
Eight or nine hundred, we could say.
Take your choice. Which will you recommend?
Methodist? Baptist? Pentecost, or Lutheran?
As for myself (I'll say it straight)
If you're in denomination my friend,
you'll not reach that gate.
Jesus tells me in Ephesians 6:27;
Obey this verse Paul speaks about, and you will make it to heaven.
Peter tells us in his writings to be baptized in Jesus name;
Tell people this, watch them hiss;
They'll act like you're insane.
Walk in your church as of today, it's shameful what you will see.
The women in their skin-tight dress; way above their knees.
But yet they still sing in the choir; their lips all painted red,
Their cheeks looks like the sun going down;
And their eyes like they've been raised from the dead.
Another thing I'd like to say, is about the way the women cut their hair;
The pastors won't speak against it, because they just don't dare.
They're afraid of losing their congregation; this is a fact,
He sweet-talks all his members, and pats them on the back.
Another thing I just can't stand,
is a bossy woman that rules the man
She leads him around like a little kitty cat,
And walks all over him like an old floor mat.
My Bible tells me in I Corinthians 11:3,
That Christ is the head of the man,
and man the head over the women, you see.
I sure hope you don't get mad at what I'm trying to say;
Jesus' word is strict and sharp, and cuts all the way.
Professing Christians as of today, are going to be surprised;
When God comes back to take His Church,
is the only time it will be organized.
If you are in organization, with your rules other
than God's word on your wall;
I'm just afraid my dear friend, that you're in for a great fall.
You might say, "Our church believes upon His name."
So do the devils, but it's all in vain.
Then you might say, "I don't believe that,
you can't prove that to me;"
Then go to the book of James 2:19 my friend,
then you will see.
Is your pastor teaching like unto the apostle Paul?
Or is he out on the golf course, hitting a little white ball?
Are you sure he's reading, and studying God's word each night,
Or can he be found every evening, sitting in the television's light.
There isn't but one way to be born again,
and that is by the Word of God;
You can take it or leave it my dear friend,
or bury it under the sod.
Now if you don't like this poem, of what I've had to say;
Please feel free to write, and I'll write another someday.
