Reference: II Timothy 3:1-5
I am quite sure that there are very fewpeople that truly understand what it means to deny the power of God as theabove verses of scriptures point out. Are you aware of the fact my friend thatif you believe that Almighty God is able to heal the sick, remove mightymountains, roll the waters back in the sea, that this in no wise prove that youare not one that denies the power of God? There are millions of people thatbelieve that God can do these things, but this is not proof that you are not adenier of the power of God. If we were to examine each and every confessingreligious body of believers today I am sure that most of them confess and believethat God can do all things, but there is a more sure way to find out who deniesthe power of God and who does not. Take a good look at the Pentecostalorganizations in the land today and you'll see that they confess to believe in the power of God and not only dothey confess this but they also claim to be manifesting the power of God inmighty signs and wonders. I want you to know that to be a person that does notdeny the power of God is not a person that believes that God can do all things,but rather to be one that denies the power of God is proven by the fact that itdepends on the way of life that you live. The Pentecostals of today when facedwith the truth of the holiness that the word of God reveals, will deny itsaying that it's impossible for anyone to live that kind of life.
When peopleare faced with what the Bible says about how we are to live then the greatestmajority of people will deny that a person can live that type of life free fromsin etc. How many people will accept thefact that the word of God reveals that a true born again child of God does notlive in sin any longer? There are millions of people who believe that God cando anything, but when it comes to the sin question in our lives, this is wherethe line is drawn thus proving whether or not you are a denier of the truepower of God. To deny the power of Godis done by your confession saying that nobody can live without sin in ourlives. Every individual that I meet that confesses that they are a born againchild of God will deny the fact that we can live without sin in our lives. Thisis exactly where people are proven to be a denier of the power of God. The wordof God tells us that he who commits sin is of the devil, but man today will notaccept this truth because of the fact that they do commit sin in their life.Instead of people allowing the word of God to be true and man a liar they willchange the scripture saying that the early translators made a mistake in thewords that they used. They will say that today we have a better understandingof the Greek language and so they twist the meaning of the word of God to suittheir ownselves. Since the average person that claims to be a child of God, butyet admitting the fact that they sin, they will not admit the fact that they havebeen deceived but rather they will heap to themselves teachers that will itchtheir ears telling them that nobody can live without sin in their lives. Thefalse teachers will teach this although the word of God says the very opposite.Jesus said that men love darkness more than light thus proving they are notwilling to walk in the truth because of the fact that they would have to changetheir way of living. This they are not about to do. The average person willsearch desperately for an excuse so they can continue on in their deceived wayand Satan has many false teachers who are more than willing to itch their earsfor them. Taking a good look at the denominational church world today and wecan see that the tongues doctrine is being received and believed. This iscausing them to believe much stronger inthe realm of mighty works, but as for the truth about holiness andrighteousness they will not receive and believe it. Satan is searing theconscience of millions today causing them to believe lies that will doom theirsouls forever. The word of God tells us that if we are not willing to receivethe simple love of the truth then God will send us strong delusions that willcause us to believe lies to be damned. Believe you me there are millions thatwill not walk in the light of the truth of God's word. The word of God is beingchanged into a lie by many that are accepting modern day translations of theBible. Reading the new Bibles being put out today will reveal that they arechanging the word to mean something opposite to the truth of God's word. Theaverage confessing christian today is led to believe that as long as they donot make sin a habitual way of life then they are alright in the sight of God.They are taught that they do not practice sin, meaning that they do not indulgetoo deep in it. This is a lie of the devil that many are receiving to damned.As far as I am concerned a person that does not want to walk in the light ofGod's word is not worth the salt that he eats in his bread. I say this becauseif a man will not receive and walk in the truth then this is proving they loveevil more and don't care who they hurt in what they do and say in theireveryday way of life among their fellowman. The word of God plainly revealsthat a true born again child of God is free from the power of sin in theirlives and they can and must abstain from it. The reason why the average persontoday who claims to be a child of God, but yet is prone to sin in their lives,but will not believe the truth about the sin question, is because they havebeen deceived from the truth. This they are not willing to admit because theywould have to make a change in their habits of life. Tell the average personthat sin can be overcome in our lives and they will not receive and beleive it.People are led to believe that living without sin is impossible, but they saythis because they know for a fact that they themselves cannot do it, but theywon't admit to the fact that they are being deceived from the truth of thematter. It is a fact that no natural man can live without in their lives, butwhen it come to the plan of redeeming salvation that the gospel reveals andwhat the true power of God is, then it's easily seen that Christ is the oneliving the life of the true born again children of God. The power of God ismore than sufficient to do above what we may think or believe, but the averageperson today has been deceived from the truth that the word of God reveals. Thefalse prophet and the false teachers are easily recognized and known by thefact that they do not and cannot confess that Christ is come in the flesh. Theapostle John tells us that every spirit that does not confess that Christ iscome in the flesh then that spirit is not of God. Listen real close to thepreachers and teachers today and see if you can hear them confessing thatChrist is their life. If Christ is their life why are they teaching that it'simpossible to live without sin in our life? Is Christ a sinner or a minister ofsin like the preachers are today? Isn't it a fact that Christ has not come intheir mortal flesh which is proven by their false teachings???
