Scripture References: 2 Timothy 3:13, 2 John 1:7, and Matthew 24:4
A deceiver is a person that not only deceives people, but they alsodeceive themselves as well. A deceiver is also a person that does notknow the truth of scripture, but has been led to believe that what hebelieves is the truth of Gods word. A person can be deceived by aperson that has been deceived and a person can actually deceivethemselves as well. It was the apostle James that tells us these wordsstated in James 1:21-22 that says, "Wherefore lay apart allfilthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meeknessthe engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." Manydeceive themselves not being a doer of the word of God, but a heareronly. In our day and age most people are neither a hearer or a doer ofthe word simply because we are living in the days of a famine, which isa famine of hearing the many truths of Gods word. The truth of Godsword has not been proclaimed for hundreds of years even though we havethousands of Bibles that contains the many truths. The famine ofhearing Gods word has come in our day and age simply because of all themany false prophets that Jesus said would come on the scene and deceivemany. These many false prophets has already come and died and left thescene, but they left their damnable doctrines behind to be picked upand carried on by all those that were deceived by them. A deceivedperson does not realize nor believe they have been deceived, and sotherefore they will continue to believe they know the truth of Godsword, but when confronted with what the Bible has to say about sinnearly all of these people will deny what Gods word truly says aboutit.
Jesus said these words stated in John 8:30-32 saying, "Ashe spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to thoseJews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye mydisciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall makeyou free."Jesus saying that the truth will make us free, he meant that the truthwill make us completely free from the power of sin in our life givingus complete victory over it. But to live a life without sin is a truththat is not accepted and believed by the masses involved in religiousmatters concerning God and his word. Nearly all confessing Christianstoday and in times past does not believe the doctrine of sinlessperfection simply because they know they are not perfect nor sinlessand further more they believe they never will be perfect and sinless inthis life. They believe this even though Gods word teaches the truth ofsinless perfection. There are a number of scriptures that teaches thistruth, but these certain scriptures has been taught to millions ofpeople by the many ministers of Satan as being lies and not the truth.These truths of Gods word are being looked at as being lies in the sameway that the serpent took a truth that God has spoken to Adam andcaused Eve to believe that it was a lie. This is revealed in Genesis3:1-4 that says, "Nowthe serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORDGod had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shallnot eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto theserpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of thefruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said,Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And theserpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die." This serpentwas actually the first minister of Satan that told Eve that they wouldnot die if they ate of the tree, but God had already told them thatthey would die if they ate of the tree. So Eve disbelieved what Godsaid and believed what the serpent said and by that the truth was saidto be a lie and so she ate of the tree, but found out the serpent wasthe one that lied and not God. Now Satan has always had his ministersto pervert and twist Gods word causing many to think that Gods word isa lie and not the truth. Take for instance what John tells us in I John3:9 that says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."The many ministers of Satan has caused millions of people to believethat it's totally impossible for a born again person to live withoutsin even though we find the apostle John saying this very thing. Theseministers of Satan are teaching that the doctrine of sinless perfectionis a lie, but is it not a fact that Satan's ministers cannot preachtruth, but can only teach a lie? What they did was to take a truth andcaused many people to believe that it's a lie. Did not the serpent inthe garden take a truth that God has spoken to Adam and caused Eve tobelieve it was a lie?
Satan has the advantage and can easily deceive the average person.Satan's ministers preach a watered down sugar coated version of thegospel and most people will lick it up like licking an ice cream cone.But Jesus tells us these words as stated in Matthew 7:14 that says, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Mostdon't search for God, but take for granted that the churches today areteaching truth and so they accept and believe whatever they teach. ButJesus plainly told us these words stated in Matthew 6:33 saying, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Mostfail to do this and so they join some church taking for granted thatcertain church is teaching truth, but the ministers there has alsofailed to seek Gods kingdom and his righteousness as well. Deception isrampant today as well as in times past, but most just accept andbelieve what is being taught without knowing if its truth or not. Theaverage person can be deceived and not even realize they have. Believeit or not, but the greatest majority of confessing Christians today arebelieving lies thinking they are believing truth. Satan's ministers hascleverly taken a truth from Gods word and caused millions to believeit's truth. As an example listen to what Jesus said as recorded inMatthew 5:48 that say, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Satan'sministers has taken this statement and teaching the masses that theword perfect means to be complete or mature, which is nothing less thanbringing the word "perfect" down to a lower condition. But does not Jesus reveal here that the word "perfect" relates to God himself? We are told to be perfect even as our heavenly Father is perfect, but to believethat the word "perfect"does not mean exactly what it says, then you would be bringing down thespiritual condition of God himself to a lower level. Satan takes atruth and causes millions to believe that it's a lie, as he did withEve in the garden.
Gods word clearly tells us that if we refuse to believe and obey hisword, then he will send a strong delusion that would cause us tobelieve lies to be damned, as stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12. Thereare a number of scriptures that clearly teaches the doctrine ofperfection, but yet we hear millions saying they do not believe it inso far as this life is concerned. Satan's ministers takes these certainscriptures causing millions to believe that to be perfect is a lie ofthe devil and so therefore they reject the truth of it and believe thelie. Are not millions of people confessing to be born again even asthey still live in and commit sin and by doing this they reject thetruth of I John 3:9 believing that it's a lie and not the truth of thematter. What Gods word says is either the truth or a lie, but is it nota fact that Gods word is truth and not a lie? Millions reject what Godsword says and go right on their deceived way believing they are bornagain even as they call themselves sinners and still live in outrightsin and rebellion against God. This is "hypocrisy"in it's highest form, but they walk around like proud peacocksbelieving they are born again even though Gods word clearly teachessinless perfection. Is not this world in the same condition as it wasin Noah's day where all flesh corrupted "his way" upon the earthas Genesis 6:12 reveals? There is absolutely little or no fear at allof God in the hearts of most people today. They do not tremble in fearat Gods word, but rather they turn their nose up at it like anadulterous woman that licks her fingers and says she has done nothingwrong. Their conscience has been seared with a hot iron causing them tospeak lies in hypocrisy every time they confess to be born again asthey continue to live in sin and rebellion against God. "He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit issaying to the churches.".....amen and amen
