Scripture References: 1 Corinthians 1:10 and 2 Peter 1:20-21

Anyone that can read should be able to see and understand that the apostle Paul tells us very clearly that we are all to speak the same thing being perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment when it comes to what the word of God teaches. Why then do we hear hundreds of different opinions and ideas being proclaimed among the religious world today? The answer to this question is revealed in what the apostle Peter tells us in the above two verses of scriptures. But first of all look closely at what Paul said above when he said these words saying” but that ye perfectly joined together in the same mind.” Do you realize that this “same mind” that Paul refers to is the very mind of Christ? Listen to what Paul said regarding this in what he tells us in I Corinthians 2:16 that says, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” Since we are to have the mind of Christ, then it stands to reason that we will be “perfectly joined together” in this same mind and judgment concerning what Gods word teaches. Let me ask again, “Why are there so many different opinions and ideas being manifested among the religious world if they have the mind of Christ?” The answer to this question is simply to say that the mind of Christ is not the mind that is in the greatest majority of confessing preachers today. Now let Peter tell us why this is so and his reason for this will reveal who has the mind of Christ and who does not have the mind of Christ.

Listen now to what Peter tells us in II Peter 1:20-21 that says, “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” Notice carefully that Peter tells us that “HOLY MEN” is moved by the Holy Ghost. Notice also that he did not say that unholy men is moved by the Holy Ghost. So what we need to understand is what exactly is a holy man and what is it that makes him holy. Again let the same apostle Peter tells us these words stated in I Peter 1:16 that says, “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.“ Gods word tells us to be holy, so what is a holy man and what makes him holy? Well to answer this question we have to look at what kind of man Jesus Christ was. Jesus was a holy man simply because he had no sin whatsoever in his total being. Being a sinless man, we know that he was anointed of the Holy Ghost to accomplish what he came to this earth to do. We are told these words in Acts 10:38 that says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Christ came specifically to save us from sin, but listen to all the people that are involved in Protestantism and Catholicism confessing yet to be sinners even as they confess to be saved and born again of God. Does not Gods holy and truthful word tell us that “holy men” are moved by the Holy Ghost? How then can a man be holy that yet confesses to be a sinner? Are sinners holy? What in the world is a holy sinner? There is no such thing, but yet we hear multiplied millions of people confessing to be born of God still living in sin and rebellion against God. What is it going to take to wake up this dead in sin generation to wake to righteousness and sin not, as Paul tells us stated in I Corinthians 15:34 saying, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.” Any person that claims to be born of God and still lives in and commit sin has been deceived, but how many of these deceived people will admit it and say amen to Gods word concerning this? How can anybody not see and believe exactly what I John 3:9 states saying, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” A person does not have to be a rocket scientist or a theologian to understand that those who are truly born of God does not and further more cannot commit sin. Why then do the multiplied millions of confessing Christians today fail to believe what the apostle John tells us about those who are born of God? Its simply because they are not willing to bend their knees and swallow their pride and allow Gods word to be true. And I also believe that the greatest majority of them cannot allow Gods word to have the final say, because they have been teaching another gospel and has been cursed of God for doing so.

Since we are to be saying the same thing being in one mind and judgment, then don’t you think its about time (if its not to late) to allow Gods word to be true and count all men as liars until proven out otherwise? Listen to all the confusion among the many denominational organizations in the world today that claim to be of God. They all claim to be born of God, but listen how they differ in what they believe and teach on things concerning Gods word. Somebody is definitely wrong, but who is man or woman enough to admit they error? Everybody is pointing their finger at the other person and this causes a stalemate where nobody is examining themselves thinking perhaps its them that may be in error. But can a deceived person get themselves out of the deceived predicament he is in? Not according to what Paul tells us in II Timothy 2:24-26 that says, “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” As you read this article you may be one of the millions that has been deceived in these last days, but if you fail to allow Gods word to correct and reprove you, then listen closely to what the wise preacher (Solomon) has to say regarding this in what he states in Proverbs 10:15 that says, “Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.” If you hate and despise anyone that tries to correct you in what you believe and you will not heed to what is being said, then you are on very dangerous ground as far as God is concerned. Gods word corrects and reproves us for our own good, because its not his will that any should perish, but for all to come to repentance and the acknowledgement of the truth of his word. Many will not be willing to listen to what someone has to say; especially if what they are saying does not agree with what they believe. Its not what we may or may not believe, but rather its what Gods word has to say about it that has the final say. So don’t be foolish enough to think you know it all and everybody else is dead wrong, because an attitude like that is not the mind of Christ and it will get you in serious trouble with God. The least you can do is to check out what you hear with Gods word before you make a hasty decision to deny or accept what you hear. Not doing this will cause many to refuse to be reproved by the word of God without knowing it. “He that has a spiritual ear to hear let him hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches.” AMEN
