Let us first of all find out if Gods holy word teaches the doctrine of the perfection of the saints. Jesus first of all tells us these words stated in Matthew 5:48 that says, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Now if you are a true believer of Gods word you will have to believe what Jesus said, and what did he say? Does he not tell us to be perfect even as the Father in heaven is perfect? Yes, but notice he does not tell us how to accomplish this does he? Now would Jesus tell us to do something that was not possible to achieve? No he would not, but does Gods word tell us anywhere how we can be perfect as he clearly tells us to do? Yes it does, so lets look at some of the scriptures that clearly reveals how this can and must be accomplished in our life in this present world. It is the apostle Paul that reveals how we can and must achieve this perfection in our life. Lets look first at what he tells us in II Timothy 3:16-17 that says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

Now are you going to deny what the majority of confessing Christians today deny about what Paul is telling us here? Is not the apostle Paul clearly revealing to us what the scriptures of Gods word will do for us if we believe and obey exactly what it says? Paul is plainly telling us that the scriptures of Gods holy word is to instruct us in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect does he not? Let us also look at what Hebrews 7:18-19 states saying, “ For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.” Is not the writer of the book of Hebrews telling us that the law made nothing perfect, but that the bringing in of a better hope did? What is this “better hope” that is spoken of here? It’s the new testament covenant that contains twenty seven epistles that were written by approximately eight disciples of Christ, which includes the apostle Paul.

All of these twenty seven epistles make up what is called “the gospel of Christ” which are his many teachings. It is these many teachings of Christ that was revealed to the eight writers in all of the twenty seven epistles that will perfect the person that will believe and obey them. If you deny this fact, then you are an unbeliever and you will never attain the perfection that Gods demands of us. If you do deny the doctrine of perfection let what the apostle Paul has to say about it in his epistle to the Colossians be a warning to you. In Colossians 1:28 the apostle Paul tells us these words of warning that says, “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Do you hear Paul’s warning about how we all must be perfected in Christ? Most deny the doctrine of perfection simply because they don’t understand the teaching, and also because they know that they are not perfect and they believe they will never be perfect in this life. To believe that is to believe a lie, because the doctrine of perfection is very much a teaching taught in Gods word. You can be sure of this very thing; if you don’t believe in perfection of the saints in this life, then you definitely never will achieve it. The reason why you may not believe in perfection in this life is simply because you are believing what some false prophets doctrine has to say about it instead of believing the simple truth of it that Gods word has to say about it. Those who deny what Gods word says about any teaching found in his word, including the doctrine of perfection, they have done the same thing that Eve did in the garden of Eden. Did not God plainly tell Adam that if he ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that he would surely die in the very day that he did eat of it? If you don’t know, then listen to what Genesis 2:16-17 states saying, “ And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Now listen to what Genesis 3:1-4 tells us saying, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die.” Do you hear the serpent telling Eve that she would not die when God plainly told Adam that he would surely die in the very day he ate of the tree? She was deceived into believing that she would not die if she ate of the tree, but Adam ate of the tree knowing that God told him that he would die if he ate of it. Eve believed a lie thinking she would not die, but she did after Adam has eaten of the tree when Eve gave it to him to eat.

Now the serpent is still deceiving people into not believing what Gods word has to say about sin. Does not Gods word tell us this as stated in I John 3:9 that says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” Now is it not a fact that multiplied millions of confessing Christians today are claiming to be born again and are still living in and committing sin against God even as they claim to be born again? And does not John plainly tell us that those who are born of God does not and further more cannot commit sin? Now if you continue to believe that you are born again and committing sin, then can you not see that according to I John 3:9 you are actually believing a lie as you continue to believe you are born again? Any preacher that will tell you that you are born again even as you know you still commit sin, then you are believing a lie in the same way that Eve was deceived into believing a lie. It was Satan that inspired the serpent to deceive Eve causing her not to believe what God had said, which of course was the truth of the matter. That serpent in the garden was the first minister that Satan used to spread his lies concerning what Gods word says. And Satan has multiplied thousands of preachers in the world today as well as in times past still doing the same thing. Satan’s ministers are spoken of by the apostle Paul in what he tells us in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 that says, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

What these ministers of Satan does is to blind the minds of the people with another gospel that blinds the mind from the one true gospel of Christ. Paul reveals this in what he said in II Corinthians 4:3-4 that says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Satan’s ministers has got millions of people believing that the blood of Christ covers their sins and God cannot see them, and he also has them believing that the death of Christ paid the penalty for all sins committed, which includes the sins of the past, and present and future sins as well. This is a lie that millions of people are believing to be damned just like Gods word tells us as stated in II Thessalonians 2:10-13 that says, “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.”

Notice if you will that Paul tells us that God chose us to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, which of course is Gods word. The greatest majority of confessing Christians today will not accept and believe what Gods word says about those who are born of God. John said those that are born of God do not and further more cannot commit sin, but this truth is denied simply because those involved in Christianity are told that Christ’s blood covers their sin and that Christ’s death paid the penalty for all sin of the past, the present and the future. This is a lie of Satan being proclaimed by his many ministers, but multiplied millions of people has been deceived into believing error rather than the truth of Gods holy word. The same thing happened in the garden when the serpent deceived Eve into believing she would not die even though God told Adam that they would die. This was believing a lie to be damned like millions are doing today as well as in times past. The reason why most will not accept the biblical truth about sinless perfection is simply because those involved in Christianity knows full well that they are not sinless nor perfect, because they yet confess to be sinners. They accepted the lie that said that Christ’s death paid the penalty for all sins including the sins of the past, the present, and the future. If Christ’s death paid the penalty for all sins as its being taught throughout Christianity, then ask yourself these questions and answer them. (1) If the death of Christ paid the penalty for all sins, then why didn’t Jesus tell the woman taken in adultery to go and sin more instead of telling her to go and sin no more? Would not his death had already paid the penalty for her sins and there would have been no need for Jesus to tell her otherwise? (2) If the death of Christ paid the penalty for all sins, then why did Paul tell his converts in I Corinthians 15:34 to wake to righteousness and SIN NOT? Why would Paul bother to tell them NOT TO SIN if Christ’s death already had paid the penalty for them? (3) If the death of Christ paid the penalty for all sins, then why does Paul tell us to rebuke them that sin, as stated in I Timothy 5:20? Why would anybody have to be rebuked for sin if the death of Christ already had paid the penalty for all sins of the past, the present, and the future? Listen friend you better learn to let God be true according to his word and count all men as liars until you prove them out by what Gods word says. One sin committed in the garden plunged all mankind into sin and rebellion against God so don’t you think you should reconsider and see exactly what Gods word has to say about the doctrine of sinless perfection? How is it possible for perfection to include sin when it was sin itself that caused the fall in the garden and caused Adam who had no sin to fall prone to its power and influence? Yes perfection is without sin and so how is it possible to be perfect with sin in your life? You simply don’t understand the teaching of sinless perfection as Gods word clearly teaches and reveals it. Paul sums up this great truth in what he tells us in Colossians 1:28 that says, “ Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” “He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.” AMEN
