Reference: II Corinthians5:1 and Romans 6:3-4
If a survey was taken to find out just howmany people there were that knew what a new creature in Christ actually was,and how this operation is brought about, I believe that the statistics wouldshow that more than ninety percent of today's confessing christians would be totally ignorant of the facts. Thismay sound like to you that I am exaggerating way out of proportion seeing thatso many hundreds of thousands of people confess to be born again children ofGod. Yes, I know for a fact that many, many thousands of people are confessingto be born again Christians but how many do you know that can tell you what anew creature in Christ is and how this new birth is brought about? The commonteaching in the church realm today is that no one can understand the new birthas to how it takes place etc. If this be true, why then did Jesus say that aman had to be born again in order to enter the kingdom of Heaven? The new birthtoday is taught to be an experience at the altar instead of coming to theknowledge of the truth about it. Whether you believe it or not, the new birthis explained in the gospel and unless you come to the knowledge of it, you willnever be truly born again and made a new creature in Christ. Becoming a newcreation in Christ is the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that unless a manbe born of the water and of the Spirit he could not see nor enter the kingdomof God.
To be born of water means to be washed by the word of God. The washingof the word will transform you into the image of Christ filled with all hisfulness and stature. To be filled with the fulness and the stature of Christmeans that you have undergone the operation of the new birth where you havebecome a new creation. You can become a new creation through the process andoperation of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit by the word will transform your lifemaking you this new creation in Christ. God's word is creative. By the word ofGod we are told that he created everything in existence. God actually spoke allthings into existence by the power of his word. Would you believe it if I toldyou that Christ was the spoken word of God that became flesh and dwelled amongman? Christ was the word made flesh. Christ being the spoken word of Godreveals that it was he that created the universe etc. The book that is calledthe Bible is God's inspired word. Within this book is revealed the plan ofredeeming salvation. Your coming to the knowledge of the divine plan ofsalvation will transform you into the very image and likeness of Christ. TheSpirit reveals the truth to the believers heart and mind thus making a newcreation out of the believer. The word revealed in the gospel is for the solepurpose of transforming the believer into a new creature. Since all things are possiblewith God, he devised a plan whereby it could be possible to create and make anew creature out of a person that would receive and believe the plan of hisredeeming salvation. God must reveal this plan to your heart and mind or elseyou will never be a new creature in Christ where old things have passed awayand all things are become new. Please notice that the word of God says that allthings are become new and not just some things. If you will check thedoctrines of the church today you will find that all of them teach that thechristian still has the old sinful nature. This should open your eyes wideenough to see that this is directly opposite to what the gospel teaches. Thechurch's ignorance of the knowledge of the truth concerning the new birthproves that they do not know nor have truth within them. A church without truthis a church without Christ, because Christ is the way, the truth,and the life. My friend, you can let Satan's ministers deceive you ifyou want to, but their admitting the fact that nobody can understand the newbirth is proof enough to show you that they will lead you straight to a devilshell. False teachers today are saying that when a person receives Christ as their personal Saviour andis baptized in water, this baptizes the believer into Christ's body making them a new creature in Christ. Theysay this based on the fact that Paul said in Romans6:3 that as many as were baptizedinto Christ was baptized into his death raised again to walk in a new life.This bapism spoken of here in Romans 6:3 is not referring to water baptism. This baptism is thebaptism of the Spirit baptizing the believer into Christ's body through and bythe revelation of truth. The Spirit baptizes the believer into the body ofChrist through the revelation of the word. The word transforms you into theimage of Christ. The transformation takes place by the renewing of the mind andthe crucifying of the lusts and desires of the flesh. This whole operation is aprocess that takes time and patience. Before you can become a new creature inChrist, you must first receive the gift of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Thereceiving of the Holy Spirit is done by your obedience to what the revealedword says. Nowhere does the word of God say that you must receive the Spiritspeaking in other tongues like many are saying today. The only way that you canreceive the Holy Ghost is for you to obey the command of repentance and waterbaptism. It's possible to receive the Holy Ghost before you are baptized inwater. If you do, you still must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ forthe remission of sins as stated in Acts2:38. Your failing to do what theword says to do will cut you off from God whether you believe it or not. Whenyou truly repent of your sins you will realize that you cannot cease from sinuntil God gives you the Spirit in your heart. The Spirit gives you the power tocease from sin, but then you must continue on in the word of God for the truththat will transform your whole being into a completely new creature. When theSpirit of God comes into your heart this purifies your heart causing you tolive a different life. The Spirit will then proceed to reveal truth to you andthis revealed truth will renew your mind and crucify your fleshly desires. Therenewing of the mind and the crucifying of the fleshly desires is the baptisminto Christ's death. You will be resurrected to walk a new way of life. TheSpirit in you will completely transform your whole being making you a newcreation in Christ. Your carnal nature has been removed by the Spirit cominginto your heart. The body of sin that must be crucified is crucified by yourreceiving the knowledge of the turth that the gospel reveals. The Holy Spiritreveals the truth to you from the gospel.
If you want some good sound advice, thenmy friend, repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissionof sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that will lead andguide you into all truth.......
